The charts give the information on the average percentages of 3 unhealthy nutrients, including sodium,

saturated fat and added sugar, in 4 typical meals consumed by American people. It is clearly seen in the
pie charts that dinner and snacks are unhealthiest meals while breakfast is the healthiest one.

According to the chart, dinner occupies the largest proportion of Sodium for 43% and Saturated fat for
37%. The major source of added sugar consumed in American meals comes from Snacks as they are
associated for 42% amount of added sugar in their diet.

American breakfast is much healthier than those 2 meals as it provides the lowest percentage of 3 types
of nutrients, with just around 16% of each. Lunch is less healthy than breakfast, but it contains less
detrimental nutrition than dinner and snacks. The percentages of 3 types of nutrients are much higher
than that of breakfast but much lower than the data of snack and dinner.

Test 2

The chart provides information about export earnings of one country in 5 main categories in 2 years of
2015 and 2016. The next table shows the growth or drop of each field during a year in percentage.

Overall, the total amount of money earned from exporting petroleum products is the highest among 5
categories while textiles experienced the fastest increasing speed comparing to others in the second
figure.

Looking at the bar chart, it is clearly seen that there are not any categories which make as much money
as petroleum products with slightly above 60 billion dollars in 2015. While both petroleum and
agricultural products mildly increase by just more than 1 billion dollars during a year, gems and jewelry
dropped to 41 billion dollars. Despite gaining the smallest amount of money of nearly 26 billion dollars,
textiles exportation witnessed a drastic growth by more than 6 billion dollars in 2016.

Regarding the table, except for only gems and jewelry which holds a mild dropping speed of 5.18%,
there is an increase by 0.81%, 3%, 8.5% and 15.24% of agricultural products, petroleum products,
engineer goods and textiles respectively.

Test 3

The diagram shows the process of electricity generation in a hydroelectric power plant.

It can be easily seen in the graph that there are various stages in producing electricity starting with
accumulating river water and finalizing with the transmissions of electricity to the national grid.

In the daytime, collected river water is stored in high-level reservoir held back by a dam. When the dam
is opened, the water from the reservoir will flow down on a slope, which generates electricity. In the
next stage, reversible turbines are rotated to power the generator due to the flow speed of water
coming out of an italic pipe. Then the generator will transmit produced electricity to national grid via
power lines. After rotating the turbines, water is released into a low-level reservoir in purpose of
storage.

At night, water from low-level reservoir is directed to the power station, which again turns the reversible
turbines. Water is then pumped upwards into the high-level reservoir and ready for the next cycle of
generating electricity.
Test 4

Two pictures give information about various transformations which have been made to Grange Park
from 1920 to the present.

As can be seen in the pictures, this place has undergone a large number of changes in facilities and
infrastructures of the park.

In 1920, people could visit Grange Park by getting into North and South entrance as Arnold Avenue and
Eldon Street respectively, but now new entrance through the underground car park has been added. In
the center of the park, the fountain has been replaced with a rose garden with seats surrounding and an
amphitheatre for concerts also take the place of stage for musicians.

Looking at the first picture, there are 3 separate rose garden and a lot of seats located near those.
However, today the rose garden in the left-bottom of the picture has been removed and one to the right
of the north entrance has been converted to a café. Both pond for water plants and glasshouse has been
flattened to make room for children’s play area and water feature.
