1) Pythagoras:
Pythagoras was a wizard of mathematics. The most outstanding mathematician of
antiquity. The Pythagoreans would say: “All is number”, which means that everything
can be explained with mathematics.
2) Isaac newton:
Newton was the man who predicted that the world would end in 2060. The famous
Newton Laws, Calculus and the stunning Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia
Mathematica are all his groundbreaking works. His theory of gravitation provided the
world with a stair to climb up the heavens. He literally conquered the stars

Nobel prize winner Einstein is the scientist who gave the world it’s most famous
formula: E = mc2. Just imagining that time could be slowed down or accelerated gives
us goose bumps. Einstein is the man who discovered relativity. He played around with
time!
4) Louis Pasteur
Everybody talks vaccines these days, right? Louis Pasteur discovered vaccine for
anthrax and rabies. A process called Pasteurization bears his name. He is among the
founders of Bacteriology. He has saved millions of lives through his discoveries. He
was a true savior.
5) Galileo:
With his telescope he introduced modern astronomy to the world. He opposed the
belief that the notion sun-centered-universe, faced the wrath of the church and was
placed under house arrest till death. He showed us how beautiful and intricate the sky
up there is.
6) Charles Darwin:
His voyage on HMS Beagle changed the course of the history. Punching Creationists
in the face he laid the foundation of the unshakable theory of evolution. He told us the
true story of our existence in scientific terms for the first time in human history.
7) Nikola Tesla
Thanks to Nikola Tesla, otherwise we would still be living in the dark using lanterns
for light source. Tesla invented the first AC motor.
8) Alexander Graham Bell
We wouldn’t be having a cell phone in our hand if Graham Bell had not handed us the
Telephone. Graham Bell told us that human connections could be extended way
further.
9) Thomas Edison:
Known as America’s greatest inventor, Edison gifted us with light in the form of the
incandescent bulb. He took cinema to a whole new level by giving us the gramophone
and motion picture camera.
10) Stephen Hawking:
Suffering from a motor neuron disease, Hawking was and still is a source of
inspiration for millions of people. He advanced our understanding of the blackholes
and discovered Hawking Radiations.
