published Eating Organically in 1999, one of Michigan’s rst guides
to organic and local foods. The fth edition was released in
September 2005.
This 55 page Guide features 317 listings for farms, farmers’
markets and related businesses, including 60 organic farms. It
is not a complete list of all farms, markets and businesses
offering local, organic foods in Michigan. We have included those
businesses that made information available to us. If your business
is not listed and you would like to be included in the future,

please let us know.
Because we know people are looking for quality foods grown
or raised without toxic chemicals, hormones or antibiotics, in
ways that protect the earth and support local communities, we
have included notes from farms or businesses that describe their
