PLC Splitter

Description
Planar lightwave circuit splitter (PLC Splitter) is a type of optical power management device that is fabricated using silica optical
waveguide technology. It features small size, high reliability, wide operating wavelength range and good channel-to-channel
uniformity, and is widely used in PON(EPON/GPON) networks to realize optical signal power splitting.

KINSOM manufacture a whole series of 1xN and 2xN PLC Splitters. They perform uniformly over a wide spectral range, with ultra-low
losses. KINSOM splitters are highly compact, reliable and available in very wide range of fiber and connector types. All KINSOM PLC
splitters are fully compliant with the Telcordia GR-1209 & GR-1221 standard.
