This Excel file contains a sample set of pages for a log book. It should be adjusted to fit your specific needs
and cruising plans. Having a concise, well documented cruising log creates a journal of your travels.

1 Only print with a Laser printer - Ink Jets are NOT waterproof

2 Use waterproof priner paper - I get mine from www.riteintherain.com

3 Run a sample first - different printers have different print margins - make sure this logbook fits within your laser printer's print margins

4 You will see there is a "Front" log page and a "Back" log page. This is for duplex printing. The top and bottom margins have been adjusted
for the binding being on the top on the front page and the bottom of the backside of the duplex page. If you will not be
printing duplex pages (not recommended - save paper please) then delete the "back" page

5 Have your binder put a hard plastic back on the book, a clear plastic fron and have it spiral bound with plastic

6 Use waterproof pens or pencil. I find the waterproof pens at www.riteintherain.com
