HOW DO MOVIES AND TELEVISION INFLUENCE PEOPLE'S BEHAVIOR?

Since the beggenings at 1900, the televisión started to be a source of

entertainment and funny for the family, since ever the people want to be like their
favorite artist or their favorite movies or TV programs, People are atractive for the
life style from their favorite idol, and for that reason, People try to copy their
behavior. That´s why the television has become a source for some people to
change or copy behaviors from their idols. Next to this, I´m going to talk about how
televisión and movies have changed people behavior and their habits.
Television is one of the main means of communication that has existed in the
world, since its invention in 1937, it has not stopped to give reasons to speak with
its advance and what it has meant for the society, But not everything that produces
the Television has always been good, Every day we see more and more people in
our society are influenced by all those things that are on television, these
influences can be both good and bad, what can be highlighted in this is that both
television and the Internet in the 21st century It continues to influence people's
behavior, of such a rule that they make them almost a copy of their characters, or
favorite TV shows.
Since the TV was invented, it has not stopped transmitting important facts both in
our society and worldwide. We can find out what happens in any part of the world
just by tuning into a specific channel, we can also distract ourselves with the wide
variety of programs or series that national and international TV offers us, learn
things ranging from cooking to be able to Survive in the Amazon rainforest.
Although lately, Television has become a double-edged sword, the programming
that some channels present is not entirely suitable for all audiences. When I talk
about this I refer to those channels or TV programs that only talk about things that
have harmed this country and the world: drugs, drug trafficking, death, violence,
lust. These are the kinds of things that start to create all kinds of stereotypes in
children, young people and even adults. Stereotypes in programming, ways of
living together, values and attitudes that do not correspond with real life.
A clear example of this type of programs: "Without breasts there is no paradise", a
program that talks about drug trafficking, prostitution, drugs, sex, death,
chauvinism etc..., This type of soap operas were transmitted in prime times. Hours
in which many children could see this kind of programs and learn or copy all the
behaviors that they watched from their favorite TV show.
Although not all programs offered by TV are bad, as we know the news programs
help us every day to receive information from all over the world with incredible
speed. And as we know communication is essential for human beings.
How we know, television has gradually become the most influential means of
communication in the development of different audience behavior patterns;
Children and teenagers from all over the world have grown together with the
evolution of the television market. Some studies indicate that this relationship
between television and behavior exists, but it has been difficult to identify some
kind of causal nexus.
We know that the contents of Colombian television in regards to adolescent
audiences indicate that the programs partially replicate the reality of social
inconsistencies in the country. Just as laws coexist with impunity, in the same way,
television shows illegal and anti-social acts in different ways that do not receive
consequences for those who do them.

Desarrollo

How we know, television has gradually become the most influential means of communication in
the development of different audience behavior patterns; Children and adolescents from all over
the world have grown together with the evolution of the television market. The various studies
indicate that this relationship between television and behavior exists, but it has been difficult to
identify some kind of causal nexus.
