Weatherford Wireline Spring

Webinar Schedule
Weatherford has a long history of providing cased hole and open hole wireline services along with the associated log
interpretation courses here in Western Canada. The more things change, the more they stay the same. So while we'll be
unable to meet in person for the first time in decades, we are still providing wireline services in the field and we hope you're
able to join us for our first spring webinar program. We are pleased to offer the following online courses free of charge to
our past, current, and future clients:

UNDERSTANDING THE BASICS OF CEMENT BOND LOGS AND THEIR APPLICATIONS (2hrs)
- Learn the fundamental principles behind the various cement bond tools including Sector bond and Ultrasonic tools, and
how to evaluate the logs they provide.
- Tentative date: May 12th, 2020 Time: 09:00am to 11:00am
INTRODUCTION TO CASING INTEGRITY LOG INTERPRETATION (2 hrs)
- Overview of Wireline diagnostic technologies such as Flux leakage, Ultrasonic and Multi-Arm Caliper, enabling accurate and
efficient casing inspection.
- Tentative date: May 13th, 2020 Time: 09:00am to 11:00am
INTRODUCTION TO OPEN HOLE WELL LOG INTERPRETATION (4 hrs)
- Utilizing open hole data, you will learn how to determine lithology, porosity, and saturation and use these concepts to
evaluate reservoir quality. The primary focus of this course is the petrophysical application of commonly run logging tools.
- Tentative dates: May 20th, 2020 Time: 09:00am to 11:00am; May 21st, 2020 Time: 09:00am to 11:00am
IN-SITU OIL SANDS LOG INTERPRETATION (2hrs)
- Overview of Wellbore Imaging and Raptor Through casing technologies as they pertain to Oil Sands evaluation. We will
discuss paleocurrent, sand count, and fracture identification from Imaging tools as well as 3 phase saturation analysis from
Raptor, Shaly-sand calibrated to core data including bitumen %weight, elemental analysis and magnetic resonance for
saturations.
- Tentative date: May 26th, 2020 Time: 09:00am to 11:00am
UNCONVENTIONAL RESOURCES WELL LOG INTERPRETATION (2hrs)
- An overview of advanced technologies and workflows utilized in unconventional reservoirs evaluation. We will discuss
Elemental analysis, Magnetic Resonance, Raptor through casing analysis in horizontal wells, Organic Shale Petrophysics, and
Geomechanical applications.
- Tentative date: May 27th, 2020 Time: 09:00am to 11:00am
CAVERN STORAGE LOG INTERPRETATION (2hrs)
- Overview of Wireline technologies and solutions for Cavern Storage operations. We will discuss mechanical integrity testing
technologies, as well as Raptor pulsed neutron for product interface and cavern washout analysis.
