Letter of Recommendation Dear Admission Committee and Graduate School: It is my pleasure to

recommend Mr. Salman Hayder for a Master program in Computer Science in the school of computing
at the Montana State University, Bozeman, MT. I met Salman during his undergraduate study at the
Daffodil International University when he registered for the Compiler Design course for m y section. The
course was designed on the principles of compiler writing. Specifically, it focused on lexical analysis,
parsing, and simple code generation. The expectation was to write a complete compiler for a very
simple high-level programming language where Salman’s ability was excellent. The individual course
project was completed by him with an A+ which reflected his independent working ability. From his
strong research interest, he was able to publish a paper on IEEE during his undergraduate study. He was
assigned to survey on relevant studies for the paper where I found his analytical skills are profound that
led his research paper to be accepted at the very first chance with all positive comments by the
reviewers. Salman was also a student member of the research club of Computer Science and
Engineering department where he mostly worked with Natural Language Processing research team. He
proved his strength as a ‘skillful team member’ because of his technical abilities in programming (mostly
in python) and problem-solving capabilities. To my personal belief, Salman is well capable of his work
and has the capability of further study in his desired area. Besides his academic strength he owns good
interpersonal skills. Thus, I am convinced to recommend him strongly for the program XXYYZZ at the
AABBCCDD University with financial support. I will be happy to assist you further with additional
relevant information to support the decision-making process at your university. Sincerely, Seraj Al

bunch of test for his analysis on N-gram algorithm, Spell checking & Auto Complete with Corpus, naive
bayes, decision tree etc. He got good programming skills on C and OOP (Java) and web programming
(PHP). As a student I found him very prompt in class and different university activities. He took part in
many competition including programming contest, analysis of errors, finding overall good solution and
design arranged by department of CSE where he scored among top five. From his strong research
interest, he was able to publish two articles during and after his undergraduate study. I almost knew him
for three years at his undergraduate level and later we are in touch for different purposes. To my
personal belief, Ifte is well capable of his work and has strong interest towards his further study in
Computing. Besides his academic strength he owns good interpersonal skills. Thus, I am convinced to
recommend him highly for the doctoral program at the Gianforte School of Computing, Montana. Please
feel free to contact me for any further information about the applicant if necessary. I would be happy to
