10. Quantifier Noughts and Crosses
This engaging quantifiers game helps students to practice making sentences with quantifiers. Draw a
noughts and crosses grid containing quantifiers on the board and divide the class into two teams. The
two teams toss a coin to see who will start: https://justflipacoin.com/?c=black. The winning team chooses a
square and then has 30 seconds to make an appropriate sentence with the quantifier in the square. If
the team takes longer than 30 seconds, they lose their turn. If the team manages to make a sentence,
the other team helps to judge if it's correct or not. If the sentence is correct, the team writes a nought
or cross in the square accordingly: https://playtictactoe.org/. Then, it's the other team's turn to play. The
first team to get a row of three noughts or crosses wins the round and scores a point. Play several
rounds using different quantifiers each time. The team with the most points at the end of the game
wins.

Pick a student with the wheel picker and have them say the sentence.
