Shannon Martin Transportation Unit- January 19-30

* The transportation unit will cover the three modes of transportation (land, air, water). The unit is 9 days long and includes several days spent on a
culminating activity. Many of the worksheets have been created specifically for the curriculum at Willow School and are differentiated to help all
students experience success.

Lesson Title Train Counting

Arrange a long chain of cubes, ask student’s how they could determine how many cubes are in the

Many student’s had improved in their one-to-one correspondence between the report card
Reflection assessments and the activity. I had to adjust who received which worksheet level in the middle of the
activity. In the future, I will use the mid-level worksheet as a pre assessment tool.
