What is Qzone?

Qzone was created by Tencent in 2005 based in China. It is networking website in which you
write blogs, send photos, hear music, you can watch videos. Games can be added from
Application center to users homepage and can play with friends in Qzone. Games are not only
available in Qzone, but also other utilities apps, social apps and entreatment app too. It depends
on the users taste that how he wants to create his background and choose accessories based on
his likings. But most of the accessories are not free there. If user buys Canary Yellow Diamond
then he wouldn’t have to pay extra after buying this service. Background music can be set by
users. Two versions are there one for Green Diamond users and other for ordinary users. The
difference between these two is that genuine music can be enjoyed by Green Diamond users
and ordinary users will need to upload online music but it has a poor connecting quality.
Tencent reported in 2009 that Qzone was exceeding other social website like Weibo and Tagged
in China. It rapidly grew 623.3 million users in 2013 November and 645 million in 2014. In a
month accounts are updated by at least 150 million users which makes it most ongoing groups
in business.
Tencent Company took Qzone as an interior service and its original name was Little Home Zone.
Zhu Liang took Qzone in 2008, registered users reached 490 million this year and active users
were 200 million. The main object of Qzone was not seen as a social network in beginning but as
a product blogging. Chinese blog market rose in 2005. MSN and Sina blog are two main
competitors for them.
Canary Yellow Diamond – the VIP service gives Qzone revenue and profit. Users can take
fully advantage of services through it as it is a monthly payment process. Also, there is a site
who use Q coins system, with the help of these coins they make money off by selling virtual
items and by real money these Q coins are bought. In social games many add-on services
are there like QQ farm. Advance equipment can be earned by Yellow Diamond users without
any extra fee. By distribution of platforms to different games and advertisements ozone is
making money by this too and the profit comes from gaming gainsharing.
