BEFORE THE MISSISSIPPI GAMING COMMISSION

IN RE: Cause No. – E0 01-2020

All Mississippi Casinos

ORDER AUTHORIZING REOPENING

COMES NOW, the Mississippi Gaming Commission, upon consideration of the amendments

to Executive Order 1477 from Governor Tate Reeves allowing certain businesses to reopen, and

specifically with the approval of guidelines required by the State Health Officer, the Commission

hereby rescinds the Closing Order dated March 16, 2020 and allows that each casino may reopen

at its discretion, no sooner than 8:00 a.m. on May 21, 2020, with reopening expressly

conditioned on the following:

1. Compliance with all current limitations imposed by the Governor of the State of Mississippi

through all Executive Orders and amendments related to COVID-19.

2. Compliance with any and all necessary state, county and municipal authorizations required as

a condition of reopening the facility to the public.

3. Compliance with all reopening requirements and limitations including but not limited to the

guidelines authorized and approved by the State Health Officer referenced in the Industry

Letter 2020-01 issued by the Executive Director of the Mississippi Gaming Commission

simultaneously with this Order (Any amendments to the limitations imposed at reopening

will be done by further Industry Letter).

4. Compliance with the Mississippi Gaming Control Act, the Mississippi Gaming Commission

Regulations, and the casino’s own internal controls and procedures developed for reopening.

THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that conditioned on compliance with the above terms and

conditions, all Mississippi casinos may reopen at their discretion for business at 8:00 a.m., May 21,

2020.
