Dine Out Indy:

Downtown Street Closures

The Indianapolis Department of Public Works will partially close roadways
on May 22 to create four pedestrian-friendly corridors in the downtown area.
This will allow for proper social distancing in these areas, as well as additional
opportunities for outdoor dining and retail set-up. The road closure locations
will include sections of Massachusetts Avenue, Georgia Street, Illinois Street,
and the two southern quadrants of Monument Circle.

Closures are expected to last through July 4 weekend in conjunction with

the city’s Safe Summer reopening plan and Marion County Public Health
Department orders.
