I would recommend that students take an online

course in an area of interest to them in order to
stay engaged in learning. Many schools are
offering free online courses.

A course I would highlight is Yale University's The

Science of WellBeing. This course focuses on
nurturing happiness and more productive
habits. My experience has been that maintaining
motivation and avoiding procrastination have been
very challenging for many students during the
pandemic which is leading to many Deborah M. Slevin, M.Ed, LPC
disappointments for them. This course would
promote mental wellness amid all of this School Counselor
uncertainty.
