Excellent book for steel design

The book introduces engineers to the design of steel structures using the International Code Council's 2012
International Buildings Code and the theoretical background of steel design and covers the detailed design of
members and their connections.
The design problems and solutions using both ASD and LRFD methods are a great way to learn and
understand the code and see the difference between the two methods.
I really liked the excellent review of ASCE7, 2010 edition. This gives a detailed explanation of the new
loading provisions.

I like this book, I am a practicing SE and have referred time and time again to Alan Williams texts. This
book in particular is a good steel design reference.
