Gandhi Special Tubes Ltd.

About us
Gandhi Group is manufacturing automobile components since 1959. The products are marketed all over India and
are also exported all over the world including Germany, UK, S outh East Asian countries etc.

Gandhi Special Tubes Ltd. formerly known as GANDHI SPECIAL 07 TUBES LTD . was a project set up by Gandhi
Group. The project was for manufacturing small diameter welded and cold drawn seamless steel tubes. All the
critical equipment were imported from Germany. The plant situated at Gujarat, started commercial production in April
1988.

Gandhi Special Tubes Ltd. is also manufacturing Cold Formed Tube Nuts for Fuel Injection Tube Assemblies ,
Hydraulic & other Tube Assemblies . This was a pioneering effort in India as hitherto tube nuts were being
manufactured by machining.

The organization has given due importance to developing reliable quality systems. Company's quality system has
been certified as per ISO/TS 16949 : 2009 as well as ISO 9001: 2008 by M/S TUV. The organization's philosophy is
to aim at continuous growth by giving priority to customer satisfaction through assured product quality and use of
state of art technology.

Gandhi Special Tubes Ltd.

Why Gandhi Tubes ??

Importance Of Bright Annealed / Normalized Tubes For Hydraulic System
Tubes for medium/High Pressure Hydraulic application need to have high degree of reliability, ductility for forming operations like bending, flaring & ferrule biting etc. & they
also need to be bright & scale-free as scale can come out under high pressure contaminating Hydraulic oil & damaging expensive Pump & Valves.
Contamination is the direct or indirect cause of more hydraulic system failures than any other single cause. More than 90% of the Hydraulic System failures/breakdowns are
on account of contamination. System efficiency is reduced to as much as 20% before it is recognized something is wrong.
Contamination affects Hydraulic System in many ways:
• Corrosion of Hydraulic equipments such as Pumps, valves, cylinder etc.
• Increased internal leakage which lowers efficiency of pumps, motors & cylinders. It decreases the ability of valves to control flow and pressure accurately. It also wastes
horsepower and generates excess heat.
• Sticking of parts due to sludge or silting. Silting is a collection of fine particles in critical areas which will impair proper system operations.
• Seizure of parts or components caused by large amount of contaminants getting stuck in the clearance.
Therefore, Contamination prevention is a major concern for all who operate, service and maintain hydraulic systems. A small mistake involving injection of contaminants can
result in damage to equipment that cannot have money value placed upon it. For example, if a hydraulic line that contains contaminated fluid is used to service Hydraulic
equipment, it can result in damage to expensive equipment, loss of huge amount, or injury and loss of life to personnel on the jobsite.
“It Is A Challenge For Tube Manufacturers To Manufacture Tubes Meeting All These Requirements. This Has Been Possible For GANDHI TUBES Because Of
German Technology.”
At Gandhi Tubes Prime quality Raw Material, excellent process control and Bright Annealing in Roller Hearth Furnace under closely controlled Reducing Atmosphere
ensures Highly reliable, Bright, Scale-Free & ductile tubes meeting requirements of critical application like Hydraulics.
