Muhammad, the last prophet, was born in Mecca 571 years after the prophet
Jesus. His father was Abdullah who died before his birth. His lost his mother Aminah
when He was only 6 yers old. He married Khadijah when he was 25 years old. She
was a noble lady of Mecca. The Islamic calendar began from he time of migration.
Migration in Arabic is Hijrah. In Mecca his tried to establish belief in One God
among Arabic people. In Medina he tried to establish a social life among many
different people.
The Islamic religion was preached by Muhammad for 23 years. He invite us to
believe to Allah and to obey him. He asked us to love children and respect to elders.
He thought us to help one another. He stopped people from doing harm to others.
He was the creator of Universe. He creates the world for us and also creates us
in the best form. Therefore God is One and Almighty. There is no one like Him, and
he has no partner, children or parent. He also made us taught how to live like googd
human beings, be happy and successful.
One day Mr. Abdullah tested his sons to know their belief in god. As a general
faith, a muslim believe a in Allah with all His names and attributes, and he accepts all
His command. There ninety nine attributes and names of Allah and muslim believes
in all his attributes. In the other words, Islam is following God the Master. God is our
Creator and Master. The word Islam also means peace.
There are two sources of religion Islam are Qur-an and Sunnah. The Qur-an is
the God word which were reveled to the prophet Muhammad. The revelations was
completed over a period of 23 years. Some muslims learn the whole of the Qur-an by
heart, but all muslims learn part of the Qur-an by heart. The Qur-an is final Book sent
from Allah and noble Book. It was revealed in the Arabic language in a beautiful
style. Allah asked us to read Qur an and follow what it says. Allah sent the prophet
and messengers to show us the right path. Books of guidance sent by Allah are also
called books of revelation. Revelation is Wahyu in Arabic.
Their mission was as true leader and guides of human society. Man’s life on
the earth began with prophet. The first man was also the first prophet. A prophet is a
human being who receives guidance from Allah, obey Allah and invites other to obey

Allah. When people forgot the true message of Allah, He sent other prophets to
remind them of their duty to Allah. In this way prophets came at different time.
The angel are spiritual being created by Allah. The angel are creation of Allah.
They are His servants creates from light. The angels always obey the commands of
Allah and carry out His orders.
One of the articles of faith in Islam is belief in life after death. The prophet has
shown us the path of obedience, peace, and happiness. It depends on us to follow the
prophet or follow the devil. We are free choose the path to paradise and happiness or
path to the hell and misery. Life in paradise will be a life of peace and happiness
which will never end. Those who go to the hell will live there in pain and suffering.
