El estudiante debe desarrollar la guía completando los espacios con el verbo to Be o con otros verbos
conjugados en presente simple, presente progresivo, pasado progresivo y futuro simple; utilizando
las estructuras vistas y trabajadas en el primer periodo. Académico..
Esta guía se debe ser realizada en la guía y ampliada en el cuaderno se tiene que presentar el primer
dia de clase después del receso escolar para ser sustentada en forma oral y escrita.
Nota: deben repasar cuidadosamente esta y la anterior guía realizada en clase para la prueba de

Past progressive

The Progressive Past is a verb tense of the past, which is used to talk
about the development of an action that took place at a certain time,
the end of which we do not know or is unimportant, as well as to
express that an action took place when another interrupted it and
finally refer to actions that occurred simultaneously. Example:
 The dog was barking
 The dog was not barking
 The dog was barking?

The time expressions
El pasado progresivo se forma con el verbo to be (estar) en pasado, más un gerundio
(present participle).
THE RULERS FOR CONJUGATE THE VERBS

 Para expresar en una oración que transcurría una acción en el pasado, o
acciones que se realizaban simultáneamente se debe usar el auxiliar
“was/were”.

 Además, se explican las ACCIONES SIMULTÁNEAS PASADAS y las oraciones


que contiene el PASADO PROGRESIVO y PASADO SIMPLE.

 Por un lado, para describir acciones simultáneas ocurridas en el pasado.

 Ahora bien, para expresar una acción que tenía lugar hasta que otra externa a
ella la interrumpió, tendremos una oración compuesta por 2 ideas que expresan
Pasado Simple y Pasado progresivo.

 Finalmente, tenemos las Fórmulas para la Estructura de oraciones Afirmativas,


negativas e interrogativas, las “Time Clauses” y las “Expresiones de Tiempo” del
Pasado Progresivo.
