ORDER:

Orders were issued in the G.O. 1st read above to approve

the guidelines for award of Post Matric Scholarships for the eligible BC
students.

2. Orders were issued in the G.Os. 2nd and 3rd read above to
sanction the rates of Post Matric scholarships to the Backward Classes
students.

3. Orders were issued in the G.O. 5th read above to prescribe

the comprehensive procedure of sanction, drawal and disbursement of
scholarships to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe & Backward Classes
students.

4. Orders were issued in the G.O. 6th read above to guidelines

for reimbursement of tuition fees to Medical and Engineering course.

5. Partial modification orders were issued in the G.O. 7th read

above for sanction of Post Matric scholarships to the BC students in all
colleges including private un-aided colleges.

6. Orders were issued in the G.O. 8th read above to extend

the scholarship benefits as enjoyed by BC students to eligible minority
students as ordered in the G.Os. 2nd and 3rd read above.

7. Orders were issued in the G.O. 9th read above to order

that, the tuition fees and special fees as are/will be charged in Govt.
and universities, colleges or as permitted by the Govt. from time to
time by BCW Dept. be reimbursed to all the eligible minority students
and also issued guidelines thereon. Certain amendment to guidelines

for sanction of post matric scholarships for students belonging to

minorities were issued in the G.O. 10th read above.

8. The Managing Director, A.P. State Minorities Finance

Corpn. has stated that, in view of the implementation of Govt. of India
scholarships schemes, a lot awareness has been generated for the
scholarship and reimbursement of Tuition fee from the Minorities
students of late and enhancing of Annual Income of parent/guardian
criteria and also propose to enhance scholarships and reimbursement
of tuition fee on par with SC students, the budget for the above said
purpose has to be enhanced.

9. After careful examination of the entire matter and keeping

in view of the commitment for sanction of Post Matric scholarship and
Reimbursement of tuition fees to all eligible Minority students, Govt.
here by agree for sanction of post Matric scholarships and
reimbursement of tuition fee and special fee to the all eligible Minority
students from the year 2008-09 onwards on saturation basis on par
with SW Dept. for category ‘A’ (convener quota) students only and
prescribe the following guidelines:

(i) Since saturation is the commitment the formula stipulated

in the G.O.Ms.No.42, BCW (A2) Dept. dated 17.9.1997 and
guidelines issued vide Memo. No.1004/B2/2005 B.C.
Welfare (B22) Dept. dated 22.2.2006 allocating not more
than 20% available budget to professional courses are
dispensed with.
(ii) The scholarship committee in each district will post facto
review and monitor sanction, disbursement and
acquittances of post-matric scholarships as envisaged in
the G.O.Ms.No.42, BCW (A2) Dept. dated 17.9.1997.
(iii) Reimbursement of tuition fees and special fees shall be
sanctioned to all the eligible Minority students based on
the existing fee structure for various course permitted by
Govt./University.
(iv) The College Managements shall not collect Tuition
Fee/Special Fee from the Minority students eligible for
Reimbursement. The amount reimbursed by the Dept.
shall be deducted by the Management at the time of
collecting fee from the students.
(v) The information regarding sanction of Post Matric
scholarships and Reimbursement of Tuition Fees and
Special fees, College-wise and Student-wise will be made
available on the Web Site instead of publication through
press.

10. The Vice Chairman/Managing Director, A.P. State

Minorities Finance Corpn. shall take necessary action accordingly.

11. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance

(Expr.SW) Dept. vide their U.O.No.4899/271/A2/Expr.SW/08, dated
20.06.2008.
