ADDENDUM TO
THE RULES AND
PROCEDURES
FOR THE 2020 LEADERSHIP
This Addendum is adopted pursuant to paragraph 10.9.2 of the Constitution which mandates LEOC
to “determine the rules and procedures for the conduct of the leadership election process.”
This Addendum modifies and forms part of the Rules and Procedures for the 2020 Leadership
which were initially adopted by the Leadership Election Organizing Committee on January 11, 2020
(“Rules”). In all cases of disagreement, the provisions of the Addendum shall be considered correct.
For ease of reference, numbering in the Addendum begins where the Rules leave off. Abbreviations
are as in the Rules. Cross-references are provided for convenience only.
8.1 The deadline for anyone to become a member and be eligible to vote is confirmed to be
May 15, 2020 at 11:59 pm EDT. (reference section 2.1)
8.3 Notwithstanding section 8.1, any member who was in good standing as of April 17, 2020 at
11:59pm EDT remains eligible to vote. (reference section 2.1, 8.1)
8.4 The deadline for the CRO to provide a Final National Voters List to Candidates is now July
11, 2020 at 11:59pm EDT (reference section 2.6.5)
8.5 The deadline for a request for a change of residence is now July 10, 2020 at 5pm EDT
(reference section 2.5.2)
9.1 Funds will only be transferred as processed by the Conservative Fund Canada.
Notwithstanding section 4.4.6, the Conservative Fund Canada will issue a cheque or
electronic funds transfer to the Candidate’s campaign on the Thursday of each week of all
monies calculated in accordance with the process set out in section 4.4.6 which have been
received and processed as of 5:00pm EDT on the Monday of that week. (reference sections

Conservative Party of Canada Addendum to the Rules and Procedures for the 2020 Leadership
9.2 There is no plan to have any in-person voting in the 2020 Leadership process. Unless
specifically authorized by LEOC, the CRO shall not establish any in-person polling station,
appoint EDRO(s), EDARO(s) or prepare any voting lists for this purpose. (reference sections
