TASK 2
ON THE BASIS OF AVAILABLE DATA MAKE A COMPARISON BETWEEN
NUMBER OF MALE CASES AND FEMALE CASES REGISTERED. REPRESENT
THEM IN FORM OF PIE CHART. (IF DATA IS AVAILABLE)
Though much data is not available related to the above task, the research conducted by India
Today on the basis of Crowdsource and Media Reports states that out of 1801 patients of COVID

i.e. 486. The Pie Chart for the same data is drawn below:

TASK 3
CALCULATE THE AVERAGE CASES BEING REGISTERED WITHIN A DAY.
4|Page
Total Number of Cases According to Task 1 = Active Cases + Deaths + People
Cured/Discharged/Migrated
= 1965 + 47 + 150
= 2,162
Total Number of Days = From 30th January to 3rd April, 9:00 a.m, so we will count days only till
2nd April as 3rd April’s most of the cases are not included in our study
= 64 days
TASK 4
ON THE BASIS OF AVAILABLE DATA FOR A STATE HAVING HIGHEST NUMBER
OF CASES BEING REGISTERED, MAKE A PROFILE OF THE AGE OF THE
PATIENTS AND REPRESENT THEM IN FORM OF SUITABLE GRAPH.
Due to the lack of availability of data, the above task is being done with reference to the state of
Rajasthan instead of the state of Maharashtra which is the worst affected state due to the COVID
19 pandemic. Rajasthan is also one of the most affected state from the pandemic, which has
constantly maintained its position among the top 5 worst affected states in our country. The first
case of the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic in the Indian state of Rajasthan was reported on 2nd
March 2020 in Jaipur. The Rajasthan Health Department has confirmed a total of 2,886 cases,
including 71 deaths and 1,356 recoveries, as of 3rd May 2020. 29 districts in the state have
reported confirmed cases of which, Jaipur is the worst-affected. According to Union Health
ministry, 8 districts in the state are in Red zone, 19 districts are in Orange zone and 6 districts are
in Green zone.
