The Commercial Company HIDROCONSTRUCTIA S.A. originates from the former “General Department of the Bicaz
HPP” founded in 1950 as the sole construction of the hydropower investment at Bicaz.
In 1961 the head office of the construction unit was moved to Bucharest under the name “The Enterprise for
Hydropower Constructions (ICH) which in time became “The Trust for Hydropower Constructions Bucharest”
(TCH), then “The General Contractor Trust for Hydropower Constructions Bucharest” (TAGCH).

Responsibilities
 Ensures procedures and processes for procuring goods and services are consistent with
HIDROCONSTRUCTIA S.A. company Values, Rules and Directives
 Directs negotiations and coordinates the resolutions of technical and commercial issues as appropriate
 Contributes to the improvement of the sourcing and procurement strategy
 Creates and executes on action plans for construction globally within the HIDROCONSTRUCTIA S.A.
 Close collaboration and communication with project teams, construction management, Procurement
Manager and others members of the team
 Update the invoice in internal program of the company, send weekly/monthly report for Procurement
 Responsible with logistics and supply of building materials and materials
 Negotiate the contracts and orders with suppliers / service providers in order to provide rhythmically with
the materials / products / services required in the construction sites
 Make a management of supplier’s data base, mainly with names and with this created, identify possible
suppliers and evaluate their accomplishment, having as objective warranty an efficient answer of all
solicitations
 Negotiate contract conditions and term in accordance with the company interests taking into
consideration the company interests
 Identify business opportunities and development directions for current business
 develop and maintain strategic relationships with current and potential customers, suppliers and relevant
authorities
 Identify factors that affect the achievement of sales & profit plan and propose ways to optimize / adjust
the forecast
 Participate in setting general conditions of collaboration with clients
 Ensure consistency between marketing objectives and sales & profit targets
 Track compliance of contractual obligations by/to the clients

Qualifications
 Bachelor's Degree
 Minimum of 6 years previous experience in procurement, construction estimating or construction field
operations.
 Excellent Inter-personal skills, Organization skills, Strong Analytical Ability
 Excellent PC skills, proficient in MS applications - Very strong in Microsoft excel & PowerPoint
 Excellent languages skills in: Romanian, English also Arabic would be nice but not mandatory
