Itinerary

Introduction
So your boss only gave you two weeks leave? Lucky for you this firecracker of a Euro trip fits so
perfectly into 14 days it’s almost too good to be true. Get a taste of Europe with the big-gun cities,
the bucket-list items and alllllll the carb-loaded, cheese-topped, sugar-filled delights that only
Europe can deliver. There’s not really a better introduction to Europe than this.

Day 1: London, England to Paris, France

Wombats City Hostel,

Start Point 06:30
7 Dock Street, London, E1 8JN

All good things start with Paris. Meet the crew and grab some supplies before we hit the road early
in the morning and jump across the English Channel. The home of Coco Chanel, the Pompidou
Centre and the Mona Lisa, Paris more than deserves its reputation as the European capital for all
things culture, fashion and food-related. What better way to start the trip than with a driving tour and
delicious picnic next to the Eiffel Tower?Included today: - Driving tour of Paris and gourmet picnic
by the Eiffel Tower Meals: - Dinner

Day 2: Paris
This morning: free time en Français. From the Louvre and the Musée d'Orsay to the Arc de
Triomphe and the Champs Elysées, you'll be sure to make a solid dent in your bucket list. Later on,
it’s up to you: stretch those legs on an optional bike tour of Paris or simply roam the streets on your
own. End your day with an optional Seine River cruise or a #throwback cabaret show.Optional
activities: - Traditional cabaret show - Seine river cruise - Bike tour of Paris Meals: - Breakfast

Day 3: Paris to Swiss Alps, Switzerland

Trade in Parisian streets for snowy peaks. Home to the ‘Top of Europe’, 72 waterfalls and one of the
largest nature conservations in Switzerland, Lauterbrunnen is where we'll be spending the night.
Upon arrival, we’ll get stuck into an included dinner before heading to the bar for a nightcap.
Cheers!Meals: - Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner

Day 4: Swiss Alps

Scenic hikes and jaw-dropping views are high on today's agenda. Go low key with a mountain walk
or hop on board the Jungfraubahn railway for an optional visit to the Jungfrau Mountain summit.
Expect plenty of fairytale villages en route! Another feast awaits your return, regardless of how you
make your way back down.Optional activities: - Scenic excursion to Jungfrau ('The Top of Europe')
- Skydiving - Scenic helicopter ride - Visit a Swiss watch shop Meals: - Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner

Day 5: Swiss Alps to Florence, Italy

Hand back the skis and yodel your way down the mountains into the land of the long boot. Then:
stop for THAT photo at Pisa before we truck on to the Tuscan hills. Hello, Florence! Ready to eat,
sleep, repeat in the foodie capital of the world?Included today: - Visit Pisa and see the famous
Leaning Tower Meals: - Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner

Day 6: Florence to Rome

After a walking tour of Florence with a super knowledgeable local guide, it’s up and onwards to
Rome. Time to give that bucket list a workout. We’ll pass by the Pantheon, throw our two cents in
the Trevi Fountain, sit on the Spanish Steps and check out the mighty Colosseum before the day is
done. Tonight, you're in Disneyland for foodies. Have fun!Included today: - Walking tour of Florence
with a local guide - Walking tour of Rome Meals: - Breakfast

kisses and pizza the way it's supposed to taste. Count your blessings on an optional tour of
Vatican City, then play ‘I-spy’ with two-and-a-half millennia worth of history. Want more? You could
always shop till you drop on Via Condotti, head to Capitoline Hill for awesome views of the Roman
Forum and Colosseum or just kick back in Piazza Navona for some dolce far niente (delicious
idleness).Optional activities: - Guided tour of Vatican City Meals: - Breakfast - Dinner

Day 8: Rome to Venice

You know it as The Floating City, but this place is actually sinking (slowly). Today we’ll check out a
who's who of Venice's usual suspects on a guided walking tour (ticking off the likes of St Mark's
Square and Accademia Bridge) before rounding things off with a vaporetto ride along the Grand
Canal. Need suggestions for this afternoon? Insider tip: spend some time seeking out the epic
Libreria Acqua Alta bookshop (or just go on a mission to find the perfect gelato).Included today: -
Walking tour of Venice - Vaporetto ride Optional activities: - Gondola ride - Get a personalised trip T-
shirt or hoodie Meals: - Breakfast

of Bavaria? You do now!Included today: - Walking tour of Munich Meals: - Breakfast - Lunch

Day 10: Munich to Berlin

Meals: - Breakfast
European Wonder https://www.tourradar.com/t/1461

Today, why not step out on an optional Third Reich walking tour for a local insight into what the city
was like under Nazi rule? Kreuzberg is a hit for lunch – or you could always have a picnic at the
historic Tempelhof airport-turned-public park. Tonight, it’s your chance to explore the city after dark
- Berlin’s nightlife is famous for a reason!Optional activities: - Third Reich walking tour Meals: -

Day 12: Berlin to Amsterdam, Netherlands

Start dreaming of cafes, clogs and canals as we roll through tulip and windmill-dotted fields to
Amsterdam. After learning how cheese and clogs are made, we’ll get our bearings on a walking
tour. We’re talking the Dam Square, the Royal Palace and the National Monument – so get your
cameras at the ready! For the perfect end to the perfect day, give in to temptation and grab a cone
of hot chips with mayo. Mmm.Included today: - Orientation tour of Amsterdam Meals: - Breakfast

Day 13: Amsterdam

Join 881,000 bikes and get your cycle on with an optional bike tour of Amsterdam's iconic canals,
bridges and parks. And for the culture fiends? Delve deeper with a visit to the Anne Frank House

I had a wonderful time on the European Wonder tour in September
2019. Stien was a fantastic guide and she played a major part in
making the entire trip a lot of fun. She was very friendly and helpful
throughout the entire tour! With her knowledge and interest in travel, it
was amazing to learn all about the different locations from her from
history and culture to the food and languages. I hope that I get the
chance to travel with Tourradar and Stien again in the future!

Bring a suitcase instead of a backpack, don't get out that much
money in Switzerland since everywhere accepts cards. Most the side
activities are totally worth it. The bus rides in between the locations
are a great time to cool off from the exicitement between the
locations, but bring something to do when you aren't sleeping like a
kindle or movies loaded onto your phone. Go into things with an open
mind.

consulate website for the latest up to date information.

destination into google maps.

The majority of hostels in Europe have individual lockers for guests to store their belongings -

Naturally everybody's spending varies. There are many souvenirs to be bought and a great

leaves a few meals and your personal spending to budget for. Throughout the trip, your Trip

budget approximately €70 per day including optional activities and some souvenirs.

The following meals are provided: - 13 breakfasts - 6 lunches - 11 dinners.

Can you assist with booking additional accommodation?

Of course, we can! Once you have a confirmed booking on this tour, we can request
additional accommodation for you with the tour operator.

Is it possible to meet the group in Paris for this tour?

Meeting the tour in Paris instead of London is not a problem, however, Topdeck is not able to
offer a discount for choosing to do this as the tour cost is a set package.
