Properties
Due to its special surface activity KOLLASOL OCE shows excellent deaerating properties and wets the material
to be treated quickly and completely. KOLLASOL OCE does not contain phosphor or silicone and reduces the
formation of foam.
The wetting times according to DIN 53 901, 20°C, 2.0 g/l application amount are approx. 3 sec. and are thus
within the range of rapid wetting agents.
Because of its deaerating and defoaming properties KOLLASOL OCE prevents the fabric from floating.
The product is not steam volatile and can therefore be applied in hot liquors in impregnation processes and in
open systems with little odour formation.
Owing to its surfactant-like character KOLLASOL OCE shows good disperse and emulsifying properties.
Application technique
Diluting instructions
KOLLASOL OCE is emulsified by pouring cold water over it, and it is directly added to the baths. In case of stock
solutions they should be stirred before use.
Fields of application
KOLLASOL OCE can be applied for all textile pretreatment processes where excellent wetting and deaerating
properties are needed. The product is particularly suited as deaerator with only a slight odour in hot liquors.
Application proposal
In order to obtain good wetting properties an application amount of 1.0 g/l is sufficient. In case an extremely good
wetting capacity or an excellent defoaming effect should be asked for 2.0 g/l KOLLASOL OCE are applied.
