Settings for CareRay 1500C in the ExamVue DR Software

1. Install the detector and turn on the power

2. Set the Network settings for communicating between the PC and Detector

Move to ‘Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections’ and change the IP


address such as the below figure.

3. Open the DeviceConfige.ini (C:\ExamVue\) and change the value of


‘CareRayIntegrationTime’ to ‘2000’

4. Run DeviceConfig.exe

5. Select the ‘CareRay CareView 1500C/CW’ in the mode list


6. Click OK button

7. Open cfg.proerties file (C:\ExamVue\CareRay\) and change below settings:

- Change the directory path if you can’t use the default ‘D:\’ drive

- Change the AEDIntegrationTime

8. Run ExamVue.exe
Settings for Calibration

1. Open the ‘API4.7.x_NDTx.x.x’ folder

You can copy the file to the CD enclosed in he shipped product package.

2. Open cfg.proerties file (C:\ API4.7.x_NDTx.x.x’ \CareRay\) and change below settings:

- Change the directory path if you can’t use the default ‘D:\’ drive

- Change the AED Integration Time.

This value has to be matched compared with the selected detector mode in the
DetectorConf.xml file

- Enable the One Shot Calibration mode

3. To calibrate the detector, please run the execution file, ‘CarerayImageNDT Vx.x.x.exe’
- Click the Correction button and check the ‘Fixed Position Corr’

- Click the Modify button to change the Integration time for the calibration
- Click ‘Calibration’ menu and select the ‘One shot Calibration’ menu

- Start the calibration

Please follow the direction shows up the pop dialog.


4. After completing the calibration, we need to check the image quality.

- Move to the Detector Tap menu and click the Correction button and then select the
‘Fixed Position Corr’

- Click the Sync Mode button and select the ‘AED Sync’ mode
- Click the ‘Exposure’ tap menu and click the ‘Acq Rad Img’ button

- Take X-ray and check the image quality

5. Exit the calibration program

Settings for Dual detector


1. Move to the “API4.x.x_NDTx.x.x_CAL3.1.0\CareRay” folder.
2. Open Config.ini and change the settings as below.

;Default IP address of the detector

ipAddress = 192.168.68.1 -> first detector

ipAddress1 = 192.168.68.2 -> Secondary detector

*if you need to change the IP address of the selected detector, you have to contact to the
administrator

3. Run DeviceConfig.exe

4. Select the ‘CareRay CareView 1500C/CW’ in the mode list

5. Run ExamVue.exe

Setting for Wireless detector

1. In order to check the wireless configuration, install the detector as the wired mode
2. Set the Network settings for communicating between the PC and Detector

Move to ‘Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections’ and change the IP


address such as the below figure. (Host IP : 192.168.68.10)

3. Open the browser and input the IP number, 192.168.01.

4. Input the Username and Password (User : power, PWD : power

5. Click ADVACNCED tap and click the WiFi menu


6. Click the default_5GHz button

The wireless detector is recommending the 5GHz mode

7. Check the ESSID and change the name if you need to change.

8. Choose the Security Option as ‘WPA2PSK + AES’

9. Input the value of ‘WPAPSK’ for security password

10. Click Save button if the settings is done.


User hast to remember the ESSID and WPAPSK value and has to input the value to the AP
router to connect between them.

11. Disassemble the wired detector to the wireless detector.

You don’t need to have the interface box, data cable and LAN cable.

12. Restart the detector

13. Prepare and turn on the AP router for the wireless mode

14. Connect to the LAN Cable to the PC to change the settings for the wireless detector

- SSID

- Wireless

15. Set the Network settings for communicating between the PC and Detector

Move to ‘Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections’ and change the IP


address such as the below figure. (Host IP : 192.168.0.10)
16. Input the IP number, 192.168.0.1 on the internet browser.

17. Click the Configuration and move to the general settings

18. Click the 2.4GHz wireless settings and disable (or stop) the 2.4GHz
19. Click the 5GHz wireless settings and change the SSID name

At the time you have to definitely input the name checked the wireless settings configuration.

20. Click the inside network settings and change the IP address as shown
21. Click the Save button and Restart the AP Router

22. Set the Network settings for communicating between the PC and Detector

Move to ‘Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections’ and change the IP


address such as the below figure. (Host IP: 192.168.68.20)

23. If you need to use the wireless LAN card on the PC, you have to choose the SSID called as
“CarerayAP-5G” on the wireless list, also you have to change the IP number as 192.168.68.20
