The theme of this morning will be missionary work

That’s why this morning I want to share with you 4 reasons to be involved in missionary work
I want to invite you to open the bible in the book of Mathew 9:35-38

The first reason is

We have an Objective. 35 -36
Mat 9:35 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of
the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. Mat 9:36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on
them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.

Through this passage I can see the main objective (objectif) of Christ, do the gods wil

John4:34 “My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.
in one word our lord was saying what feeds me, what fills me, what gives me strength is to do his will

it's interesting that when my main meal is to do His will,I receive all the spiritual nutrients I need, in order to glorify
his name
this spiritual meal is good for the body, soul and spirit.

It is important to know that the condition of Christianity these days, we will find many spiritually malnourished
brothers and sisters
I think it's time to return to his will, we've been wasting a lot of time, feeding ourselves with other things

Our lord was focused on the main purpose, he knew very well his responsibility on this earth

Luke 19:10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
He did not come to this earth just to work miracles or just to form his disciples or just confront the Pharisees
our lord came to save the lost
You and I who were separated from him on our way to the eternal condemnation

1P 2:21 To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in
his steps.
The example he left us is this
He was connected with people. Jesus went through all the towns and villages
He was constantly preaching. teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom
He had compassion for people. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them

Mat 4:19 “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.”

CHARACTERISTIC OF A FISHERMAN
He is passionate.
he is passionate about what he does, his life is fishing, he enjoys fishing,
the gospel is the power of God that brings salvation
when the gospel reaches a person, the power of God transforms the life of this person
He is prepared.
He does not lose the opportunity to share the gospel, He is ready to talk to anyone.
He is persistent.
He knows that beyond the result he has a responsibility.
He is patient.
he rests in God, , he knows that God will open some door (misionero en el Middle East)

Mat 9:37 The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.
This verse that says “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. are still valid
This is a call for the church to wake up

There are opportunities for all of us, God calls you, God enables you, God provides you and God opens the door.

We have to understand that there is a lot to do, and everyone has to assume their responsibility in God's plan.
this is not a call for a few Cristian, it is a call for the church.

God called Abraham when he was a old man

God called Paul when he was an adult
God called Timothy when he was a young man

Acts 4:13 When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they
were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus
