NOTICE OF PUBLIC AUCTION

25-LKg Bags SRA RAW SUGAR

The SUGAR REGULATORY ADMINISTRATION (SRA) will dispose 25 LKg-Bags (1-kg


packs/bag) RAW SUGAR through public auction at a minimum bid price of Php2,150.00
per bag, on January 28, 2010, 9:30 a.m. at the SRA Training Center, Bacolod City.

Interested parties are requested to secure a copy of the Bid Form from the Appraisal
and Disposal Committee Secretariat of SRA–Bacolod.

Bids will be received and opened in the presence of the attending bidders or their
authorized representatives. Registration will start at 9:00 a.m.

Public auction will be declared a failure if there is only one offeror and if all the
offers/tenders are non-complying or unacceptable.

GENERAL GUIDELINES IN THE CONDUCT OF PUBLIC AUCTION

25-LKg Bags Raw Sugar

1. Bids will be received and opened in the presence of the attending bidders or their
authorized representatives.

2. Each bid will be accompanied by a proposal DEPOSIT IN CASH or CERTIFIED


CASHIER’S/MANAGER’S CHECK issued in Bacolod City, payable to SRA-Bacolod Office, in
an amount equivalent to at least ten (10%) percent of the total bid price. Failure to
enclose/submit the required proposal deposit in the form and amount prescribed herein
shall automatically disqualify the bid concerned.

3. Public auction will be declared a failure if there is only one offeror and if all the
offers/tenders are non-complying or unacceptable.

4. After receipt of the Notice of Award, the winning bidder may claim and withdraw the
property after the bid price is fully paid as evidenced by an official receipt and the
necessary Gate Pass has been duly approved.

5. Claims shall be made only during official government working hours.

6. Claims shall be made within the period stated in the Notice of Award. Failure on the part
of the awardee to claim the property within the stipulated period shall have the effect of
cancellation of the award/contract. The awardee shall then be charged storage fees and
other incidental fees/costs or damages. If the property remains unclaimed over a
prolonged period of time, ownership of the contracted/awarded property shall
automatically revert to the government.

7. Properties will be sold on an “AS IS WHERE IS” basis.

8. SRA reserves the right to reject any or all of the tenders.
