Recently, a man killed a half dozen people at a political rally in Tucson,

Arizona and wounded a congresswoman. The left wing and their media,
which is most of the mainline media in the country, immediately blamed
the shooting on those who disagree with them. Obama was supposed to do
a memorial service in Tucson; instead he turned that into a political rally.
The foundational premise of his speech was that his critics caused the
shooting. Newspaper articles, television news segments, TV journalist talk
shows and internet blogs shared that same premise, maintaining that the
critics of the left need to stop criticizing them.

Some time back, a Muslim US military officer went on a shooting spree,

killing thirteen and wounding thirty, about twice as much carnage as the
recent attack. In spite of the Muslim's statements to the contrary, the New
York Times said that Islam should not be blamed for that attack. "In the
aftermath of this unforgivable attack, it will be important to avoid
drawing prejudicial conclusions from the fact that Major Hasan is an
American Muslim whose parents came from the Middle East."

By contrast, there is a broad consensus that the man who rampaged in

Tucson was mentally aberrant. Everybody agrees on that, yet somehow the
left takes the position that this man, with a record of years of being unstable
and who was said to have communist leanings, committed his terrible act
because of the right wing. The New York Times said, "…it is legitimate to
hold Republicans and particularly their most virulent supporters in the
media responsible for the gale of anger that has produced the vast
majority of these threats, setting the nation on edge."

How's that for fair reporting?

And the liberals' response to all of this was to make countless threats to kill
little Sarah Palin.

Shootings are not rare occurrences in America. They happen all the time.
Let's look at the news for today – just one day, Sunday, January 16, 2011 –
about shootings in America. We will ignore all the normal single murders
and just look at news of multiple killings.

BROOKLYN, NY
"A gunman opened fire on spectators exiting Brooklyn's Bishop Loughlin
HS following a basketball game Friday night, wounding five teenagers,
one of them female, police said yesterday.

The victims, ages 17 to 19, were hit in the arms and legs but sustained no
life-threatening injuries. Another male, 18, was punched in the mouth, a
source said.

Police said that a fight broke out between seven teens and two others at
about 10 p.m., as the crowd spilled onto of Vanderbilt and Greene avenues
in Fort Greene." NY Post.

LAKEWOOD, NY
"Crockham, 19, of Lakewood, is accused of killing Lakewood Police Officer
Christopher Matlosz in an execution style shooting on Friday afternoon,
officials said." APP.com, a New Jersey site.

NEW ORLEANS, LA
"Two dead, one wounded in early morning shooting – Two teenaged
males and a 21-year-old female were shot early Saturday morning on
Forstall Street. WWL.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN)

"A shooting at Washington and State in Earlimart has left two people
dead and a third injured. The shooting happened around 8 p.m. Friday
night. Deputies say one victim died at the scene. A second person died
after being taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center. The third victim is in
stable condition after being shot in his lower body. None of the victims'
names have been released, but authorities say they appear to be between
20 and 30 years old."

LEXINGTON, KY
"The families of the three victims killed in January's shooting on Shaker
Run Road in Lexington came together for the first time Saturday night to
honor the men. A vigil was held outside the home where Donald Adams
Sr., Donald Adams Jr., and Ronnie Sparks were shot to death on January
4. Candles were lit and blue balloons were released to give the family a
sense of closure." Channel 18, Lexington.

HUNTSVILLE, AL
"Lawsuits filed Friday in connection with the deadly mass shooting at
[University Alabama Huntsville] last year contend university officials
could have prevented Amy Bishop from gunning down her colleagues.

Bishop, a UAH biology professor, is accused of killing Dr. Gopi Podila, the
biology department chair, along with Davis and Johnson. She faces
attempted murder charges for the shooting of three others at the meeting.
Dr. Luis Cruz-Vera, Dr. Joseph Leahy and biology department staff
assistant Stephanie Monticciolo were seriously injured. Monticciolo and
Leahy have also sued Bishop and Anderson." AL.com.

That's just a smidgen of one day's news about multiple killings. Every once
in a while, a larger multiple killing occurs, at a school or university or fort
or workplace or church. When these first began to happen, as at Columbine,
they stuck in our memories because of the horror. Now they happen so
regularly that they do not stick so well. We can't remember them all.

This is how America is.

Why is America like this?

Because she has lost the knowledge of God and the Bible, and she has lost
the common sense knowledge of right and wrong. We have these shootings
because the liberals have turned America away from God. A nation that
turns its children away from God will suffer for that. A child throwing a
temper tantrum and a shooter on a rampage are the same basic, selfish,
carnal reaction: "I can't get my way so I'm going to hurt somebody!" A
nation that is full of divorce will have their garments covered in violence. A
nation that is afflicted with adultery will be burned with the hot coals of
that sin. A nation that has the sin of Sodom will have the society of Sodom.

And that is what America has today: bitterness, division, rancor, violence.
This is what we have gained as we lost God.

The main tool that the liberals have used to turn America away from God is
the public school system. It seems such a small thing for Christians to send
their children to schools that expel God. Your kids know better, right? And
most of the classes are math and science and stuff. How much difference
can it make for Christian parents to send their kids to the public schools?

This is the difference it makes, all the violence that we see around us today.

What is the Godless liberals' response to such violence?

They will respond the same way they do in the public schools. In their
schools they put policemen in the halls and metal detectors on the doors.
They do not teach Godly morality. They increase government control.

That is exactly what they will do in the country as a whole. The more violent
the country becomes, because of their anti-Christ policies, the more the
socialists seek to quell the violence by expanding their government control
and expelling Christ.

Gather your family together, clutch your Bibles, bow your heads,
acknowledge God as your ruler, Christ as your Redeemer and keep your
kids out of the public schools. You see, this battle is far bigger than just
liberals versus conservatives. Ultimately this is spiritual warfare that we are
in and that is where victory in this struggle lies.
