Note:
1. After meggering do not forget to discharge the coils.
2. If insulation value is less than 5M ohms, dry the alternator with lamp & re-check
3. Alternator alignment procedure and specification please refer manual
4. Tighten all mounting bolts with torque wrench
5. DO-NOT use alternator fan for rotating D.G Set
6. Check Phase sequence.
7. Record Vibration level at DE and NDE side
8. Check and ensure that neutral is grounded properly
9. Check Circuit Breaker ON I OFF operations
10. Check control supply for relays and C.B
11. Check grease at NDE bearing. If alternator is stored I not running for six months
and above, Re-grease bearing. Bearing generated - yes I no
12. Set alarm and trip for winding and Bearing in case ofRTD and BTD.
13. Ensure that Test Certificate and Maintenance Manual is available.

Remarks: DG Set Commissioned as per customer urgency during lockdown period and it was connected to existing AMF panel of 320 KVA DG set.

Also used existing power cables. Suggested customer to complete pending installation work like exhaust cladding, Cable glands

and upgrade AMF panel with recommended rating ACB and power cable size.
