To Whom It May Concern

It is my great pleasure to recommend Ishita B. Bhatt for admission to your institution. I have known
Ishita for a year and was delighted to serve as her Physics teacher at JSSIS, Dubai. During that time, I
watched Ishita grow into an outstanding individual who excels in both her academic and personal
pursuits.

As Ishita’s Physics teacher, I witnessed her perseverance and diligence first hand. Ishita has a very
pleasing personality and is endearing, both to her students and teachers. As a student of Physics she has
a remarkable grasping power of the subject and is very interactive in class.

Ishita is a perceptive, sharp, quick individual with a high aptitude for math and science. She is a
motivated learner and is just as eager to share her knowledge with peers. She is able to apply her
knowledge of the subject to solve questions dexterously. She exhibits interest in the laboratory and has
undertaken various investigative projects like determining resistances of different wires using a meter
bridge, finding I-V characteristics of a semiconductor diode, etc.

Ishita a very helpful student and is always willing to walk the extra mile to aid peers. She is logical,
rational and possesses key attributes demonstrating both structured as well as critical thinking. Ishita’s
personal strengths are just as impressive as her academics. She has proven herself to have the
endurance, initiative and intellectual creativity required for the completion of any course she wishes to
undertake.

I strongly recommend Ishita as an affable student and I believe she would be a worthy addition to your
university. Ishita’s endless curiosity, combined with her willingness to take risks, leads me to believe
there will be no limit to her growth and achievements in college and beyond. I wish her all the best for
all her future aspirations.

Dear Admissions Committee,

As his English teacher and close friend, I have known Om for almost six years now. Since middle school,
I have been an influential spectator of a major part of his life, watching him and his skills transform to
higher levels or refinement over the years. With his creative mind, affection for the written word and
exceptional literary temperament, Om has far exceeded my expectations for any high school student.
Without any reservations or even the slightest hesitation, I would be overjoyed to recommend him for
acceptance into your revered undergraduate program.

To describe his intellectual acumen in the field of English, especially literature, I cannot help but talk
about his emotional spectrum and moralistic outlook, for I believe that the quality of writing is a
symbolism for one’s mental maturity. For as long as I have known him, he has always carried himself
with a positive aura, with a world of deeper thought beneath a cheerful attitude. However, a more formal
and structured environment brings about a different side of him, with captivating communication skills
and logical arguments. Since his first class with me, I believe that he has shown an exceptional sense of
context, through his ability to change the entire tone of his writing to fit the subject matter. His immense
vocabulary and concise language allow him to convey greater meaning with every word – a quality not
seen in many.

His control over the technicalities of form, style, and grammar is clearly displayed through varied
methods of writing, with an excellent conveyance of his opinions through descriptive, argumentative and
narrative pieces. The accurate use of numerous grammatical and literary tools to narrate and summarise
the already dense stories and plays into even smaller yet coherent reports consistently is commendable.
With the providence of a polarizing topic, Om can spontaneously synthesize structured and logically
convincing argumentative essays in exams, where every metaphor, rhetoric, and symbolism shines
through to reflect his philosophies. I have also noticed that his way of portraying similar points during
debates in class is completely different; expressing them through direct and strong words rather than
elegant and refined ones. Again, this shows his fluctuating and dynamic sense of language, along with a
sense of freedom that keeps him away from the restrictive confines of conventional writing. His acquired
distinction in the JSSMUN Conference last year is yet another accolade to reinforce my point. Last year,
owing to his interest in physics, he had organized a series of school assemblies, where he succeeded in
explaining something as complicated as experimental black hole theories to younger students through his
use of contextual language and strategic pacing. The consequential response and rise in interest among
others shows his engaging communication skills. He also plans on submitting his findings in article form
to a few scientific journals, with high hopes of their publication.
Poetry is again another aspect that seems to be a great area of passion and talent for Om. Though I have
seen fewer poetries from him, his ability to read between the lines and analyse the meaning of various
poems from multiple perspectives is admirable. Additionally, his frequent use of poetic devices in the
form of alliterative, allusive, figurative and even ironic statements in his essays shows a place to grow and
develop in the future. On a lighter note, I am also aware of the fact that he has infamously been known for
writing rap lines in his free time, which have admittedly gained praise for their lyrical intricacy by his
peers. While it may seem comedic to a degree, I believe that this truly shows his inner writer: one who
has inevitably appeared from his otherwise technical course load, and found refuge in today’s
multicultural scene.

With all this being said, I would like to end by emphasizing Om’s love and dedication to the subject,
which, I believe, has played a big part in the student he is today. Unlike the conventional student in his
place, he has consistently given a great priority to the vast amounts of humanity and emotion that the
subject has to offer. His performance in other subjects may make him a good student, but his intellect in
this one makes him a good human being. With his previously mentioned qualities in conjunction with his
technical and analytical prowess, I am sure that he will achieve his vision of a successful and meaningful
future through not only his actions, but also his words. Please do not hesitate to contact me with further
inquiries at gaisaravanan@gmail.com.

Sincerely,

Mrs. GayathriSaravanan

To Whom It May Concern

It is my great pleasure to recommend Ishita B. Bhatt for admission to your institution. I have known
Ishita for five years and was delighted to serve as her English teacher at JSSIS, Dubai. During that time, I
watched Ishita grow into an outstanding individual who excels in both her academic and personal
pursuits.

As Ishita’s English teacher, I witnessed her extraordinary diligence and passion to learn. She is creative
thinker with a great ability to draw on her own experience and observations to develop thoughtful
opinions on a variety of issues.
During the period of my interaction with Ishita, I found her to be a very attentive and inquisitive student
who was always on the lookout for newer topics to learn and new books to read. In my opinion, it is this
admirable thirst for knowledge, which will go a long way in helping her build a career in any field she
pursues. Ishita has been a fairly consistent performer in English and currently ranks among the top in
her class. The qualities that strike me most about her personality are her unique characteristics of
determination and the willingness to work hard and focus on her goals.

As for her personal characteristics, Ishita is an earnest young lady of sterling qualities and considerable
self-discipline. She is fun-loving, responsible and trustworthy, and an excellent listener. Her helpful
attitude, charming nature and pleasant demeanor makes her well known among her classmates.

I strongly recommend Ishita and believe that she would be a worthy addition to your university. I am
positively confident that she would bring so much to your institute, both inside and outside the
classroom. I wish her the very best for all her future endeavors.
