NOTIFICATION

It has been observed that a large number Cabs operating in Cyberabad

jurisdiction are operating in an unsafe and haphazard manner without
adequate documents and unlicensed drivers. It is also found that drivers of
these contract carriages are misbehaving with passengers, charging undue
fees and also indulging in aiding unlawful activities. Many of these vehicles
are also affecting road safety and security by parking in dangerous places,
driving rashly and creating other forms of nuisance. Therefore to ensure that
such vehicles operate in an orderly manner and do not compromise public
and road safety, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me under section
7 Clause (1) of Cyberabad City Police Act No. 2 of 2004 r/w Section 21
Clause (1) (b) of Hyderabad City Police Act 1348-F, I, C. V. Anand, IPS,
Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad do here by notify for the information of
general public that

I. All Cabs, Taxis, Vehicles on hire and other vehicles of this category will
register themselves with Cyberabad Traffic Police in the manner
indicated below and carry the requisite documentation.

a. All vehicles which are desirous of operating in the jurisdiction of

Cyberabad Commissionerate will apply in the format given in Form
CR – 1 & CR 1 A of this notification along with valid documents given
thereof.

b. The vehicles which have all valid documents as given in Annexure – I

will be issued a sticker to be carried at all times on the front and rear
windscreens. On expiry of validity they will have to renew their
permission.

c. The validity will be for a period of one year as period of validity of

Fitness / Registration Certificate / Permit which ever is earlier.
 II. All the drivers of above vehicles will have to be registered themselves
with Cyberabad Traffic Police in the manner prescribed below.

a. All the owners who are desirous of operating in the jurisdiction of

Cyberabad Commissionerate will have to apply for registration of the
drivers in the format given in Form CR 2 & CR 2 A of this notification
along with valid documents given thereof.

b. They will have to provide proof of identification and address as

specified in Annexure – I.

c. They will have to carry the QR coded card / display as issued and
place it in a place visible to the passengers sitting in the rear seat at
all times.

d. This registration will be valid for a period of one year or validity of

documents whichever is earliest. On expiry they have to apply for
renewal.

 No charges will be charged for the permission. However a nominal fee

for preparing the ID Card / Sticker / Name Card may be charged
during registration / renewal if required as ordered by Commissioner
of Police, Cyberabad.

 Hired vehicles which violate these rules will be liable for action under
Cyberabad Police Act and relevant provision of the IPC and M.V. Act.

The application process will be start from 01-03-2014. These rules

come into force from 01-05-2014.

The mandatory requirements for Registration / Renewal:

a) For Vehicles:

Self attested copies of -

1) Registration Certificate.

2) Proof of address of owner.

i) Permanent

- Adhar Card or

- Passport or

- Ration Card or

- Voter ID Card.

3) RTA Fitness Certificate.

4) RTA Permit.

5) Photo passport size (2 Copies)

b) For Drivers:

Self attested copies of -

i) Driving License

ii) Proof of Identity and address

- Adhar Card or

- Passport or

- Ration Card or

- Voter ID Card.

iii) Photo Passport size (2 Copies)
