The program objectives can be found in the general catalog and the program website both
available at:

skills/attributes/capabilities in 4-5 years after their graduation:
PEO-1. Ability to serve completely in the national and international
market/industry/academia by demonstrating high-quality knowledge and skills in the field
of Electrical engineering.
PEO-2. Show quest for learning and improvement of skills through qualification
enhancement or continued professional development.

PEO-4. Demonstrate commitment to social responsibilities, moral/ethical values and
community services.

D. Program Constituencies
Jouf University has a much broader constituency than traditional universities in the
United States. These include:
 Graduates of the program (Alumni).
 Employers of the graduate.

Graduates of the Program (Alumni):

Graduates of the program will rely on the program to maintain and build the quality and
reputation of the program. They frequently contact faculty for recruitment purposes.
Finally, the quality department regularly surveys alumni in order to confirm that the
objectives are in line with current trends.

Employers of the graduate:

Employers or industry partners have indicated that they have a clear interest in having
students prepared upon entering the workforce. Clearly, the technical and personal
preparation of the students is instrumental. Employers are also surveyed to get their
feedback and ideas on the state of our graduates and the relevancy of the program’s
outcomes and objectives.
E. Process for Review of the Program Educational Objectives
The PEOs have been designed to ensure that the Department of Electrical Engineering
meets the needs of its constituencies. Through the survey tools, these constituencies also
have an opportunity to recommend changes to each of the program educational objectives
in order to align them with their needs. The process of revision of PEOs is given in Figure
1. PEOs are revised by the QAC on the recommendations of advisory board, alumni
feedback, employer feedback and other sources. QAC then forwards it to Board of
Faculty for final approval from the DC.
