FOREWORD
This handbook, listing telecommunication acronyms and
abbreviations used throughout Europe and the USA, is published by
InterConnect Communications Ltd to assist purchasers, suppliers,
administrations and telecommunication network operators in their
daily work.
The fifth edition takes into account acronyms used in connection
with the third generation mobile systems and includes terms
regularly used in telecommunication associations in many Western
countries.
This handbook focuses on terms associated with voice, data,
telecommunication products, services, standards, regulation and
regulatory authorities.
Our authors welcome comments and contributions to aid the
continued improvement of this publication.
