Following are the instructions and guidelines for scope and preparation:

1. Total 4 Questions are given No Choice given:

Detailed Paper Pattern can be found below with specific instructions about the type of question.
Chapters included to consider for that specific question. Duration and marks. Read carefully each
and every detail.

2. Solve all questions on Answer Sheet including Question 1 MCQs [Must be in order eg. 1 B, 2 D, etc,
Please do not write description of choice here]. MCQs won't be checked if not answered as instructed to
do so.

3. Do not ask any thing about question paper from the invigilators or other staff on exam duty what so
ever be the reason as all is self explanatory and reviewed. If any misunderstanding or issue write your
own opinion/answer.

4. Question No. 3 on question paper is wrongly labeled [Type Error] as Question 2.

Preparation:

Chapter No. 2 Startegic Management and Project Selection - Project Selection Financial Model

Prepare for Payback, ROI (for any given %age) , NPV (for any given %age). Prepare Numericals at the
end of chapter.Also done for assignments. Same problem as discussed in class, among few project given
with respective cash flows you have to pick according to the feasbility by this model.

Question 4 (a=2,b=2,c=3,d=1 marks) (Approx Time 25 min) 08 marks

On actual exam quesiton paper. This question in labeled as Question 3 --> Change it to Question 4

Arrow Diagram Numerical-As solved in class

Required:

a. Calculate the minimum duration of project using precedence network diagram


b. Calculate the Activity Span and Floats for all activities.
c. Identify the Critical Activities and Critical Path(s).
d. Inference about the given situation. Have to answer in descriptive manner. Just 2-3 lines.

Note : FLOAT Time is also known as SLACK Time (Represents how much an activity could be delayed
without delaying the entire project)

Preparation:

Same style of problems as Solved in Class. Use Precedence Nodes with structure for solving on answer
sheet. You may use pencil.
Network connection and nodes should be drawn clearly and values should written neatly otherwise won't
be checked.

chapter 8: Scheduling

Use table data from these numericals and take requirements as given in our Question 4 or Asked in class
solution.
