2011 Clinton School of Public Service, Little Rock, Arkansas Master of Public Service The Clinton School offers the nation's first Master of Public Service degree which stresses academics for practical application by integrating students public service practice at the individual, group and international levels with a curriculum focused on equitable and lasting social change. Gonzaga University, Spokane, Washington Bachelors of Arts Degree Major: Sociology, Major: Public Relations, Minor: Philosophy, Minor: Political Science Senior thesis was entitled How Homophobia Affects Straight People exploring the use of homophobia as a reinforcement of masculine behaviors throughout the US. Semester at Sea, World-wide/ Mediterranean Academic Cultural Immersion While traveling to over 14 countries around the world, conducted research and wrote major paper on crosscultural comparisons of hyper-masculinity. /Traveled to 8 countries around Mediterranean examining LGBT culture and life. Gonzaga in Florence, Florence, Italy Academic Cultural Immersion Participated in a cultural immersion program that allowed me to live in Florence, Italy for 6 weeks during the summer while traveling throughout Italy and the surrounding countries.

2011 International Day Against Homophobia Paris, France Communications, Outreach, and Mobilization Officer Built strategic relationships with key stakeholders representing 90 countries around the world. Developed and managed 2011 IDAHO international initiative, the As I Am campaign. Maintained website information and social networking elements regarding country participation in IDAHO. Drafted final IDAHO 2011 report. Worked from home in US. Unitarian Universalist - United Nations Office New York City, New York Clinton Fellow/LGBT Programs Conducted needs assessment of faith-based NGOs measuring levels of advocacy for LGBT human rights alongside an asset map of LGBT resources matching advocacy needs. Convened over sixty pro-LGBT faith leaders to identify ways of countering religious exportation of homophobia to East Africa concluding in major report. Analyzed communication strategies identifying trends to constituents Gay and Lesbian Coalition of Kenya (GALCK), Nairobi, Kenya Consultant Produced My Way, Your Way or The Right Way human rights training and accompanying educational materials, including a train the trainer experience surrounding Yogyakarta Principles. Trained LGBTI populations with training, evaluated progress, and adapted into sustainable program for GALCK. 2008-Present A Hand in Health, Serekunda, The Gambia, Africa Photographer/Videographer/Participant/Board Member Volunteered on a medical mission to the Bwiam Village in The Gambia, Africa. Assisted in collection of statistical data as related to dental health, established community relationships with villagers. As board member, identified strategic plan for sustainable solutions to poor dental care in West Africa along with building support for partner organization Books for Africa raising funds and textbooks to address need for medical textbooks for Serekunda Hospital. 2009-2010 Center for Artistic Revolution, Little Rock, Arkansas Board Member Assisted in revision of our strategic plan, produced project plans and reports, helped with fundraising for statewide organization seeking to revamp their level of impact in local and state policy directives. Matthew Shepard Foundation, Denver, Colorado Youth Advisory Council Member First member inducted into the MSF national Youth Advisory Council (2 years); Produced radio shows geared towards young people through creation of the Youth First Podcast radio show hosted by MSF. Soul Force Right To Serve Campaign, Spokane, Washington Regional Community Organizer Trained by national movement leaders on campaign strategies. Directed local volunteers in demonstration supporting rights of LGBT military service members. Worked with local media and news outlets to publicize national campaign Right to Serve, HERO: A Gay Straight Alliance, Gonzaga University Executive Board- President Increased participation in gay-straight alliance by 900%, raised level of awareness on private Jesuit school campus and recognized nationally for collaborative efforts, raised thousands of dollars to send 14 students to over 7 conferences, dealt with national PR crisis pertaining to gay slur representing peers, school and group.
