Title: Plant #1 Emergency Shutdown

Purpose: Have Plant 1 shutdown in 15 min. or less.

Applicability: This procedure will be implemented when Plant 1 is to be shutdown

due to an incident that requires general plant evacuation.

Responsibilities/Summary:
The Plant 1 process technicians are responsible for implementing the tasks listed
below.

Authority:
All verified Plant 1 process technicians are authorized to invoke an emergency
shutdown of the plant as they deem necessary.

PROCEDURE ITEMS: Shutdown in emergency situation.

Consequences of Deviation:
Process parameters which would dictate an emergency shutdown are listed below. A
verified operator can shut down the plant if they feel any process parameter is heading
toward an unsafe condition.
