Tous les appareils doivent satisfaire aux exigences de la Directive 2002/96/CE relative à la gestion des déchets d’équipements électriques et
électroniques (DEEE ou D3E).
Objectif :
Favoriser la valorisation des DEEE (recyclage, réutilisation…).
Appareils concernés :
Les appareils Sebia sont concernés en tant qu’EEE professionnels. Ils appartiennent à la catégorie 8 : « Dispositifs médicaux ».
Responsabilité du fabricant :
Les déchets issus d’équipements électriques et électroniques professionnels mis sur le marché après le 13 août 2005 sont à la charge des
fabricants : Cela signifie que Sebia doit assurer le démantèlement des appareils repris aux utilisateurs et assurer la revalorisation de leurs
composants et matériaux.
Les appareils mis sur le marché avant le 13 août 2005 (« déchets historiques ») sont également à la charge des fabricants seulement en cas
d’installation d’un appareil aux fonctions/finalité équivalentes.
Dans tous les autres cas, la gestion des DEEE est à la charge des utilisateurs.
Pictogramme :
Depuis le 13 août 2005, les appareils sont identifiés par le pictogramme « poubelle barrée ».

All Electrical and Electronic Equipments (EEE) must comply with the 2002/96/EC Directive (WEEE) requirements.
Objectives :
To encourage WEEE take-back, dismantling and recocery (recycling, re-use or other forms of treatment) so as to reduce the disposal of waste.
Targets :
The Sebia equipments are intended for professional use, Class 8 : Medical Devices.
Producer responsibility :
Waste of EEE put on the market later than 13 August 2005 must be taked back ant treated by producers : Sebia will be responsible of dismantling
and recovery of equipments, components and materials.
Waste of EEE put on the market before 13 August 2005 (« historical waste») must be taked back ant treated by producers too, only if an equipment
which fulfilled the same fonctions as the previous equipment is supplied.
In other cases, the waste of WEEE must be treated under user responsibility.
Specific symbol :
Since the13th August 2005, the EEE are marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol (as shown in the center of the slide).

The aim of this list is to provide a complete set of contact information for IVD manufacturers so that they can fulfil the WEEE obligations
which are national in nature, namely registration and establishing a means of compliance with the WEEE directive.
The information on this list concerns category 8 products (Medical Devices).

For the purpose of this document:

Registration fees: Fees to be paid by producers for the registration of products to the national competent authorities.

Joining Fees: Annual fee to be paid joining the compliance scheme.

Recycling Fees: Fees depending on the amount of product placed on the market (€/kg). The recycling fees can vary from a compliance
scheme to another in the same country.

These two different fees are not exclusive, depending on the compliance scheme you may pay joining fees and/or recycling fees.
