III-C: My Neighbourhood

Where I live is one of the greatest neighbourhoods in the city to live in. The neighbourhood is
populous and thriving. The vicinity is secured by guards and cameras.

The streets are clean and adorned with colourful flowers, its not only pleasing to the eyes but
also to the sense of smell. The smell of roses waft through the air when you drive down the
street.

There are many facilities available which makes it an attractive neighbourhood to reside in.
There is a picturesque park nearby, making it the main attraction. The park is well maintained
and makes it a great place for neighbours to gather in.

The grocery store is nearby, immediate purchase of essential items is made easy. Renowned
schools are at a 10 minutes drive and there are numerous book shops to facilitate students’
needs. For leisure activities, there is a mall, cinema, sports club and spa, at close proximity.

In case of an emergency, a private, well- equipped hospital is close by. The neighbours are very
empathetic and extend a helping hand in time of need.

However, it does have its draw backs. Living in a jam packed neighbourhood you have all sorts
of people around, the good and bad. Among the good people that make the neighbourhood
lively, there are some odd ones that spoil the experience. Some people are inconsiderate. They
dispose the garbage outside their house, play loud music till the wee hours of the night and
behave badly with anyone that tries to get some sense into them. Such people ruin the unity in a
society and are a nuisance to everyone surrounding them.

Apart from those people, the neighbourhood is peaceful and all others live in harmony. All
these factors contribute towards living in this neighbourhood a delightful experience.
