Lynn Maltings still lead narrowly

from Gaywood
Lynn Maltings lead Gaywood by 1.5 points
while West Acre A are 3rd a further 4.5 points
behind.
However as the rest of the league get their
cancelled games re-played the league Title
could still go to a number of sides.
Individually their have been numerous good
performances recently with no less than 11
players improving on either their seasons
best break or score.
West Acre D’s Jack Howling deserves a big
mention for his excellent break of 19 – the
highest by a player under 14 years to date.
Jacks has only been playing since September
and if he shows this level of improvment will
be a very good player in a year or two.
Bruce Welham hit some good form last week
recording breaks of 35.45 and 55 this being
the leagues highest break to date, well done
to him.
West Acre A team mate Alex Ward hit a good
match score of 140, while also that week
Gaywood stalwarts Chris Drew and Dan
Westwood recorded very good scores of 142
and 140 respectively.
Lynn Malting’s Gary Morris upped his high
score to an excellent 90 , and hopefully will
hit the magic 100 before the seasons end.
If he does this he will help his team to be the
only side in the leagues history who have had
3 players recording 100+ scores at the
seasons completion.
West Acre B’s Jack Easter inproved his best
score to a creditable 69, however there is for
Jack ‘much more in the tank’ here ,and we
are sure a 80+ score is achievable this
season.
Finnally another big well done to Narborough
A’s Jazmin Cainey who increased her
personall best score and the leagues Girls
record to 106 two weeks ago.
Very well done to all our players on these
excellent acheivments.
