demonstrated in The Old Man and The Sea (entire narrative is one mans thoughts, written
dialectically [choppy translation from Spanish to English), and for the Influence that he
has exerted on contemporary style
b) A Master of Voice (wanted to have a different sound from other people, a style master)
c) A Larger than Life lifestyle (a manly man) Personality almost overshadows the work
that they do (Liked to fight, bullfights, WWI veteran, Deep Sea Fish)
d) Part of the “Lost Generation” (People who go to Europe after WWI to find a new life)
e) Spent a lot of his life on the Florida Cays
