Aim : To measure the length of straight lines and curve lines.

Apparatus and materials : Ruler and thread C3 (d)


Procedure : 1 Measure the length of straight line and curve line in Figure 1 and Figure
2 below. Record your answer in the Table 1 provided. State your reading in
centimetre(cm).

2 Repeat your measurements to obtain two more readings. Make sure your eyes
are directly above the objects when taking the readings. Then calculate the
average for each set of readings.
