 Dispensing Prescriptions
We dispense NHS prescriptions and will give
advice on how to get the most benefit from
your medicines. The pharmacist will also be
able to give you advice on when and how to
take your medicine as well as information on
possible side effects.
We dispense private prescriptions.
We supply all our medicines in child resistant
containers unless you request us not to.
Remember to keep all medicines out
of reach and sight of children.
Repeat Prescriptions
We can dispense NHS repeat prescriptions
issued by your doctor. Please ask for more
information.
Electronic Prescriptions
Your doctor will soon be prescribing your
medication electronically and we are able
to dispense via this method.
Emergency Prescriptions
If you are unable to get to a doctor and
urgently require prescription medicines, we
may be able to advance you medication that
you have recently been prescribed and which
we have regularly dispensed within the last
six months. There may be a charge for this
service.

Unwanted Medicines
Please return all unwanted medicines to the
pharmacy where we will dispose of them
safely.
Health Advice and
Self-Care
Our pharmacist and expert assistants are
available for advice on all medicine and minor
ailments issues, in private if required. We can
also advise you about how to live a healthy
lifestyle and provide a range of in store
leaflets covering a whole range of healthcare
matters.
Medicine Use Reviews
Our pharmacist will discuss your medication
and check that it is suitable for you. The
session will allow you to learn more about
your medicines and ask any questions you
may have. If you are having difficulties taking
your medicines our pharmacist may be able to
assist. Please ask our staff for more details.
Patient Medication
Records
We keep records of all the medicines we
dispense for our patients, which means we
can check for any possible problems, such
as reactions between medicines and we are
always in a position to deal with any queries
you may have.
We comply with the Data Protection Act and
the NHS code of practice on confidentiality.

We welcome your feedback about the

We operate a complaints procedure as
part of the NHS system for dealing with
complaints. Our system meets national
criteria. Our staff will give you further
