Personal Diet Report


The objective of this project is to study and analyze our daily food routine, but at
the same time we must improve the bad habits that we have respect to this. The
purpose was to write everything we eat on a day for two weeks, in this way to
assess how well our eating habits are. To carry out this project I had to have the
list in my briefcase every day and as soon as I finished eating I wrote it on the
paper so that I would not forget it and at the end of the day I always wrote my
reflection on everything I consumed. What is curious is that I always believed that
my diet was good, that was normal, however, after this I discovered that I have
very bad habits that although I do not see their effects now, they may affect me in
the future. To continue, I will describe my diet during those two weeks and give an
analysis about that.
As the days went by I realized that I repeat certain types of food, such as: the first
days of the week I used to eat healthy food, but as the days passed and I was
closer to the weekend I started to eat junk food and more and more often.
Something that I noticed is that every day, or most of them, my breakfast is
scrambled eggs with sausage, with fruit and natural juice, I think that already
became it a habit, and I usually have breakfast at 5:40 a.m., by fact that it is very
early, I almost always carry any fruit to eat between classes. For me the lunch is
sacred and I usually eat it between 1-2 in the afternoon, although sometimes it is
not the indicated one, like for example a burrito or pizza, nevertheless I try to buy
something complete, like rice, salad, meat or chicken, juice, etc. Between 4-6 I
start to be hungry again, but I rarely consume anything, in some cases it can be
fruit or yogurt and for dinner it is between 7-9 at night I eat some kind of meat with
salad and juice, of course that the weekend does not follow this diet.
After writing my daily diet I discovered good things as bad things. The first is that I
eat fruits every day and I always charge a bottle of water to keep myself hydrated,
however between Thursday and Saturday I have been eating a lot of junk food,
which although I did not notice it before, it has been affecting my physical condition
and very possibly has been exhausting my energies. In those days I consumed
many sausages during my breakfast, which are processed meats that harm my
health and also contain high level of grease. I will try to replace this for something
better. Also, I will change the dinner time for an earlier one, so that my body can
have a well digestion.
I consider that my diet is not the best, but it is not so bad, I have a good
metabolism and the type of fatty food does not make a big impact on me. The good
thing is that I already have a habit of eating fruit every day and I drink water every
day, I always charge with me a bottle of water. What I have to improve is that at the

weekend I do not stop eating junk food, so I plan to put a limit on that, for example
only consume

that type of food every fortnight. Now, I am aware that I have to change many
aspects and I am committed to doing it.
In conclusion, I really liked this activity because it made me realize many things
that I did not know before, such as things that I have to improve or change with
respect to my daily diet. When I finished and began to analyze each day, I felt a
little bad, however, I am still at the right age to start making positive changes in my
life, and I am going to start with this one. The first thing I will do is to plan a better
diet, such as: continue consuming fruit every day and also snacks, buy full lunches,
also a snack then because it is advisable to eat every three or four hours and
finally I will eat my dinner at seven or eight o'clock because it is the right time for
my body to digest.
