COUCHING STITCH SPLIT STITCH

A form of embroidery in which a length of wool (or Split stitch is a basic embroidery stitch that is easy to learn and
similar) is laid across the surface of a piece of fabric and versatile to use. It's perfect for any pattern that involves outlining,
held in place by fine stitches but you can also embroider dense lines of it for fill stitching.

In this activity I had so many realizations and learnings. When I heard that we are going

to sew th different kinds of stitches and make a pillow case my head aches. Because, first of all,

I hate sewing because I think it is for the girls only. This activity is given before the Enhance

Community Quarantine was implemented. Before the ecq happens I don’t have enough

materials in doing the activity. I have only 10 pieces of fabric and I come up with the idea thatt I

will cut all of those fabric into 2 pieces. Because we are required to sew the 20 kindsof stitches.

While doing this activity I have a rough time because my internet connection is limited

and I can’t watch online for the toturials of the other kinds of stitches. Running, cross and back

stitches are the only kinds of stitches that I know.

My Mom are teasing me while doing this activity. She’s always saying that I am gay

because Im sewing. And I’d feel so embarrassed even if I know that she is happy that I’m doing

for my grades.

When I finished sewing I’m so proud to my self that I learned different kinds of stitches.

I know that I can use it the near future. And I’m thankful that I learned it while I’m still young.
