One of the greatest challenges
faced by parents is not enjoying meaningful
and fulfilling interactions with their child on
the spectrum. This challenge is shared by
siblings, grandparents, and other important
people in the child’s life. Unfortunately,
typical autism programs require strict
Teacher/Student like interactions that are
often difficult to maintain in every
environment, all day long.
Our Mission is to empower parents and
caregivers by teaching you how to interact
with your child, so that opportunities for
meaningful and natural interactions are more
likely to occur. Our methods are effective
because they are used during regular daily
events and activities. They feel normal and
natural, so they are easier to learn and
consistently use. Our primary goal is to draw
the child out of themselves, and increase
meaningful and fulfilling interactions with
loved ones. This leads to increases in many
positive areas such as social motivation, self-
regulation and communication.
As every child is unique and faces different
challenges, we cannot offer a guarantee
regarding how much your child’s prognosis
will improve. However, we do offer an
approach that can give your child the best
opportunity to thrive in their environment.
PART 1: QUICK START WORKSHOP
WEDNESDAY FEB 2ND, 2011
6:30 – 8:30 PM
In this first session we will go over the basic
principles of interacting with your child on a
daily basis. You will learn skills and
techniques that you can start using right
away. The cost is $60. Topics will include:
• Increasing social motivation
• Identifying and using natural
opportunities for learning
• Increasing joint attention
• Progress, without changing your routine
• And more…
PART 2: ADVANCED WORKSHOP

Zach and Jennifer Murton are both
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists
who have worked extensively in the
Autism field. They have provided
individual and large group training to
parents, teachers, aides, and clinicians.
As parents of a child who was diagnosed
with Autism at age two, we understand the
frustration, sadness, and feelings of
hopelessness that can surround this
diagnosis. We have also seen that there is
hope for having a more fulfilling life with
your child, interacting in ways you may
have been told are impossible. Our child
is currently mainstreamed, with no need
for additional services or even an IEP.
She has many meaningful relationships
with both family members and friends.
We want to share our knowledge, support,
and tools for success with you.
