29thApril to 24 th May 2019 The four-week Strategy Formulation and Execution course will focus on E- commerce and Business Expansion. The course is designed to help participants think about the future role posts can have in what is a rapidly changing digital environment. The course investigates issues such as Government policy, challenges and market competition and discusses how these impact the strategy of the national postal operator. The participants will have to formulate a comprehensive E-commerce Strategy during a Special Workshop on E-COMMERCE Strategy being held during the 3rd week of this course.
Ms. Yu Yan started her postal career in 1995, entered into the International Business Departement in EMS China. From 2003 to 2004, she worked at the International Bureau of UPU, as the project manager of EMS Unit, specializing in the Improver Program. Her previous position before joining the APPU was the Director of the Express Management Division at the Market Supervision Department, State Post Bureau of China (P.R). Ms. Yu have strong desire and enthusiasm, to build the experience and thoughts that she have learned into the training material, to help member countries in the Asia-Pacific region to better meet the demand of customers.
