4.1ntroductory  SETTING THE MOOD:
activity (5min) o The teacher will ask:
- Do you know Jennie Finch?
- How about Monica Abbot?
- In what sport are they good at?
- What sport uses a bat and a ball?

4.2 Activity ( 10min)  GROUP ACTIVITY:

1. The teacher will divide the class into four groups.


2. The teacher will provide a manila paper and pentel pen to each group.
3. The students will brainstorm and write down the important aspects in the sport volleyball.
4. The group will choose a representative to report the output to the class.

4.3 Analysis (8min)  SHARING OF IDEAS:


1. How did you find the activity?
2. What are the rules and regulations in playing
softball/baseball?
3. What are the equipment needed in the sport?

4.4Abstraction  EFFECTIVE DISCUSSION:


(10mins) Using a power point presentation, the teacher will have a short discussion on the
background of the sport, skills involved, equipment and materials needed in softball/baseball
game.
4.5 Application
(15mins)  DEMONSTRATION:
 The teacher will divide the class into two groups.
 Students will demonstrate the skills involved in the game softball/baseball
and must consider the rules and regulations of the game in playing.

5. Assessment:  FORMATIVE TEST: (Paper and Pen Test)
