1. GENERAL
1.1. NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURES
1.1.1. RWY USAGE
Whenever it is possible according to meteorological and operational conditions:
- RWY 13/31 will be used for landing and take-off;
- secondary RWY 23 will be used for landing and secondary RWY 05 for take-off.
1.1.2. NIGHTTIME RESTRICTIONS
From 2200-0600LT it is compulsory for landing ACFT to use the available RWY
length to taxi until the apron.
1.1.3. RUN-UP TESTS
Every engine run-up will be carried out on RWY 23, if not in use, at the intersec-
tion with TWY C.
Engine run-ups are forbidden from 2200-0600LT except for ACFT which must be
immediately employed.
Engine run-ups are strictly forbidden on the apron.
Engine run-ups must be carried out according to technical manuals and last as
short as possible. The ACFT shall be placed in order to minimize noise towards
built-up areas and APT users, according to TWR instructions.
Before engine run-ups, operators shall check that the area is free of foreign
objects which could invade the maneuvering area and also cause damage to
people.
1.1.4. REVERSE THRUST
The use of thrust reverse above minimum level as reported in the flight manual is
forbidden to landing ACFT, except for safety or operational reasons.
1.1.5. AUXILIARY POWER UNITS (APUS)
APU shall be turned on maximum 60 minutes before EOBT and shall be turned off
maximum 20 minutes after arrival. A longer period for the APU use must be
authorized by the APT authority.

1.2. LOW VISIBILITY PROCEDURES (LVP)


1.2.1. GENERAL
LVP are not available.
Only RWY 31 is approved for ILS CAT I and low visibility take-off.
Aerodrome operations are not allowed with RVR less than 550m.
1.2.2. GROUND MOVEMENT
Whenever meteorological conditions are such that all or part of the maneuvering
area cannot be visually monitored from the TWR and/or in a case of RVR value
equal or less than 1500m following restrictions apply:
- Training act not allowed.
- Only RWY 31 will be in use.
- Only one movement at a time is allowed.
- Only after an ACFT landed and reported to the TWR that assigned stand has
been reached another ACFT can be authorized to move from the stand for
departure or to land.
- Departing ACFT shall report to the TWR that take-off occured.

1.3. RWY OPERATIONS
328'/100m beyond RWY 23 end available for CIV ACFT only. Turn pad light not
available, back track with caution.

1.3.1. PREFERENTIAL RWY SYSTEM
When RWY 13/31 is in use, RWY 05/23 can be used as TWY on pilot's request or
tower's request, previous pilot's agreement DAY only.

1.4. TAXI PROCEDURES


Marshalling service is mandatory for all departing and arriving ACFT.
All stands are in self-maneuvering, minimum speed is mandatory during taxi-in/
taxi-out phase.
TWY A, AA, AD, B and B1 available for ACFT up to ICAO code E.
TWY C available for ACFT up to ICAO code B.
TWY F, G, H, J, K, L and M under Military authority.

1.5. OTHER INFORMATION


RWY 31 right-hand circuit.
Birds.
RHP A1 not available when VOR/RNP approach procedures for RWY 13 in progress.

2. ARRIVAL
2.1. TAXI PROCEDURES
TWY AB only available to exit from RWY 13/31 by ACFT up to ICAO code C.
TWY AC only available to exit from RWY 13/31 by ACFT up to ICAO code B.
Communication Failure
Whenever an ACFT operating on maneuvering area experiences a communication
failure, it shall vacate RWY and ILS sensitive area and wait for arrival of the Fol-
low-me car in order to be guided to the stand.

3. DEPARTURE
3.1. TAXI PROCEDURE
Communication Failure
Whenever an ACFT operating on maneuvering area experiences a communication
failure, it shall continue on the assigned taxi route to its clearance limit and
wait for arrival of the Follow-me car in order to be guided back to the stand.
