Applications are invited from the eligible candidates of Gilgit-Baltistan for employment on
contract basis for one year against the following posts under the approved Scheme “Drug,
Water and Food Testing Lab GB” at Gilgit.

B. Pharmacy/ D. Pharm or equivalent qualification in

Pharmacy from recognized University with 15 years
relevant experience.

02 Scientific Officer 17 01 M. Phil/ M. Pharm/B. Pharm/ D. Pharm or equivalent 28-35

qualification from recognized University, with 1-2
years experience in Quality Control or Pharmaceutical
related research organization. Must have practical
knowledge of calibration and validation of analytical
equipment.

i) Candidates having hands on experience of

analytical equipment like HPLC, Flame
Photometer, Spectrophotometer, Polarimeter,
FTIR etc will be given preference.
ii) Candidates possessing M. Phil degree in relevant
field will be considered as two years practical
experience as per rule.
03 Analytical Chemist 17 01 M. Sc/ M. Phil in Analytical Chemistry or equivalent 28-35
qualification from recognized University, with at least
one (01) year working experience in Quality Control
Department of reputed pharmaceutical industry or
Food Industry or pharmaceutical related research
organization.

Must have analytical techniques like HPLC, FTIR,

 Electrophoresis, Spectroscopy, Validation/ Calibration
of equipment and standardization of reagents.

04 Admin Officer 17 01 Master Degree with 2 years experience or Bachelor 28-35

degree with 4 years experience of working in the
managerial/ administrative cadre.

Terms and Conditions:

1. Govt. Servants may submit their application through proper channel.

2. Candidates who have already applied for these positions already advertised by department will
apply again.
3. For test and interview separate date and venue will be communicated and advertised on CTSP
website.
4. After written test only qualified/short listed candidates will be called upon for interview.
5. Professional certificates of only recognized institutions will be considered.
6. The posts advertised are project posts, therefore appointment will be on contract basis and are
purely temporary. The contract period can be extended on yearly and performance basis and will
continue till project life.
7. Women Quota and disabled persons quota will be reserved as per Government Policy
8. No of Posts may be increased or decreased.
9. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in test or interview.

publication of this advertisement.
4. Incomplete applications and received after due date will not be entertained. Do not send applications by
hand.
5. Do not attach copies of academic certificates at this stage. Department reserves the right to detach the
