Application procedure The application procedure has now changed from
previous years. Applicants to Oxford are no longer
required to complete the separate Felix Scholarships
application form (although applicants for Felix Scholarships
at the other participating institutions will still need to
complete it).

Now you simply apply by selecting Felix Scholarships in the

University of Oxford Scholarships section of the University's
graduate application form.

The University will shortlist 16 candidates who will be

interviewed by Felix's interview panel in India. Shortlisted
candidates will be contacted in late April and interviewed in
May. If shortlisted you will be required to complete a short
questionnaire providing information on the financial
assistance required for your studies
Downloads Notes for applicants
Closing date Application Deadline 2. 8 January 2010 for Medical
Sciences and Philosophy students; 22 January 2010 for all
other subjects
Results We expect to notify successful applicants in May 2010

Due to the volume of applications received, we are unable to

contact unsuccessful applicants individually or provide
feedback on their applications.
Other information One award is made each year to a non-Indian student who
demonstrates academic excellence and financial need. This
student is selected from the applicants to the Clarendon Fund
and approved by the University and the Felix Committee. It is
not possible to apply for this award directly (any such
applications will not be submitted to the Committee), but you
should ensure that you apply to the Clarendon Fund if you
wish to be considered.

Past Felix scholars who have attended Oxford on a Master's

programme are now entitled to apply for an award for a DPhil
course. Up to one such scholarship will be granted per year.

Felix host a reception each summer for the scholars from all
three participating universities
About the donor The donor for the Felix Scholarship wishes to remain
anonymous. The administration of the Scholarship is
conducted by the three partner universities, with the support
of the Felix Trustees and their agents in London.

The Felix scholarships now have their own website

(http://www.felixscholarship.org), which provides
information on the Scholarships, and allows Felix alumni to
stay in touch.
